JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for a hard-working individual who can play a vital role in our Manufacturing Department. As an important part of the Manufacturing team, you'll also be working directly with Team Leaders, technical service associates and the warehouse staff. You will assist in the assembly of our quality products.
The standard shift is 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assemble a variety of subassemblies and finished products using verbal and written work instructions.
Clean, pack and process Electromechanical finished goods.
Maintains a safe and clean work environment, maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
Moves parts and materials as needed to maintain an orderly material flow.
Rotates between operations within a work line/cell as well as between product lines. Prepares work and/or department records.
Notifies appropriate personnel if process/method is out of compliance.
Performs other duties as assigned
Be able to perform overtime when necessary.
Qualifications
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
1-3 years of related “hands on” production experience in an electromechanical manufacturing/assembly environment
Ability to work with small parts.
Experience following Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) standards.
Experience using Oracle E-Business Suite is preferred.
Basic computer skills.
Experience with and understanding of cross-cultural differences and the ability to work within this environment is crucial for successful employment.
Capability to use hand tools (screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, etc.), electric and pneumatic power tools, and in-house developed product-specific tooling/fixtures.
Ability to lift/push/pull 50 lbs. (Lifting of components onto workstations or moving product on carts around the shop floor)
Ability to sit, stand, bend, push, pull, or a combination of all movement types as required by and for the duration of the job assignment.
Must be reliable, hardworking, and committed to meeting production standards.
Bi-lingual English/Spanish is a strong plus but not required.
