Summary This position supports plant production operations by covering a wide variety of tasks which require some basic training and direction by the supervisor. These tasks may occur in any area of the plant, or on occasion, may require working in raw product storage or potato fields. Job Description Job Responsibilities: Operate simple equipment including powered pallet jack and tote bin dump. Perform the set up and breakdown of tote bins and pallets within the plant. Fill, rake and move tote bins. Properly stack knocked down totes and pallets. Repeatedly lift and stack cases of finished product as assigned. Maintain good housekeeping in assigned area including, but not limited to: sweep, shovel potatoes, rake, vacuum, hose, scrape/scrub, paint, pull vines, shovel snow or sand as directed Rework damaged or restricted cases and bags of product Clean, sanitize, and rinse production and packaging equipment during plant clean up. Work on painting projects. Perform any other duties as assigned. Education/ Certifications: High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred Lock-out/Tag-out, Powered pallet jack, and Sanitation certification are required.
