+ Kiln Operators
+ Operation of mills, including monitoring feed system supplying the mills and the process itself.
+ Inspecting, cleaning, loading, and sealing of rail cars and /or tractor trailers.
+ Monitor product quality by obtaining product samples and performing quality control testing.
+ Lime Bin Attendant
+ Monitor and direct flow of product from lime elevator to lime bins.

Notify maintenance of equipment malfunctions or repair needs.
Report policy violations, safety concerns, or performance issues to leadership.
Participate in all safety, quality, and compliance training sessions as required.
Perform any other plant floor responsibilities as needed, excluding post-roll-change quality tuning.
Flexibility to work on different machines and tasks as assigned.
Contribute to the following:
Product is manufactured within standard times.
Product is manufactured according to the production schedule (timing and sequence).
Product is manufactured within engineering specifications.
Product is manufactured with the least amount of material and labor required.
Assures quality standards are met for all work station/cell output:
Enters and records all required data on paper or line-set computers
Plays an active role in ensuring all product is of the highest standard
Adopt and participate in lean manufacturing principles as introduced (5S, etc)
Follow the Group Code of Conduct and Group Compliance Policy (applicable section 2.1-2.4) along with other applicable company policies.
All other duties assigned as required.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
College degree (related field) or technical training in manufacturing preferred.
Prior manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred, especially with roll forming or metal fabrication equipment.
Understanding of basic mechanical functions, safety procedures, and use of a tape measure.
Computer Skills:
Must have basic technology literacy

Summary

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (includes the following, other duties may be assigned):
Safety Compliance: Learns and adheres to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a secure working environment for oneself and colleagues.
Quality Control: Follows and maintains all aspects of quality and performs quality checks during the manufacturing process and on finished products to ensure they meet required standards and specifications. Understands Bobrick's 4 Grade Quality System and can distinguish and explain between levels of the defect.
Fabrication Tasks: Assists in various fabrication tasks, such as measuring, building, drilling, laminating, routing, notching, and finishing toilet partition components according to specifications
Follows manufacturing procedures, reads tape measure in inches and millimeters, takes basic measurements to verify the specifications of the finished product, counts inventory, uses hand tools, observes quality defects, and operates pallet jacks.
Demonstrates understanding of VMP's and JSC's.
Maintains production and quality standards and meets work demands and deadlines.
Understands scanning procedures for components.
Performs basic addition and subtraction required for measuring and cutting materials to be incorporated into finished work.
Refers to paperwork and pulls consumable hardware to be used for orders.
Material Handling: Handles raw materials for production, including moving materials and finished components to and from workstations and pallets, by operating the overhead lift.
Rules of engagement: Understand the Rules of Engagement in Bobrick Flow manufacturing and follow them.
Able to use various hand tools as required; logs production time accurately in Factory Track and demonstrates basic product knowledge and can differentiate between series.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED); experience in woodworking, carpentry, or a related field is a plus.
Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment is a plus, but not required.
Able to read, write, verbalize in English, follow verbal and written instructions, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.
Has basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Able to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Able to understand and convert between metric and imperial units of measure.
