Job Description:
* Ensure and maintain a high level of sanitation, food safety, and safe working environment
* Accurately sort out non-conforming product per customer specifications and as instructed by management
* Accurately fill product containers per customer specifications and in such a way as to not compromise the quality of the product
* During down times, will need to assist with rework or cleaning floors
* Sort food grade and non-food grade into correct containers
* Understand correct fill weights and adjust fill per instructs from management or weight check operator
* Watch for quality issues in partially filled container and jar breaks
* Ability to the use the pounding tool in a way that compacts the product without damaging the product or creating jar breaks
* May be needed to assist with changeover of product.

About The Opportunity
A General Labor person assists the operators at various machine centers throughout the plant. This full time person will fill in for people when are they are out ill, on a leave of absence, or on vacation.
Essential Functions:
Work in die cutting as the assistant operator
Remove corrugated sheets from back of die cutter
Help the Die Cut Operator set up the machine
Work in the Automatän Room as an assistant operator
Feed corrugated sheets into the Automatän
Work in Shipping as the Unitizer Operator
Band finished units of corrugated product
Work in the Corrugator Department as the Downstacker Operator or the Baler Operator
Place load ticket into units of corrugated sheets
Complete necessary paperwork
Work in Joining as the Assistant B Operator on the specialty folder gluers
Remove bundles of corrugated stock and stack onto bay sheets per customer requirements
Work in miscellaneous departments on specific projects
Check finished product for quality per customer specifications
Ensure quality is a work priority by being attentive to detail and accuracy and by actively seeking work process improvements- quality is the responsibility of all employees
Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors

They need to have the ability to schedule their work, prioritize their workload, and complete tasks in a timely manner. A desire for continuous improvement and quality workmanship are required to meet our customers increasing demands
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous manufacturing experience is a plus but not required. Good human relations skills and strong verbal communication skills are required.

About The Opportunity
A General Labor person assists the operators at various machine centers throughout the plant. This full time person will fill in for people when are they are out ill, on a leave of absence, or on vacation.
Essential Function:
1. Work in die cutting as the assistant operator
* Remove corrugated sheets from back of die cutter
* Help the Die Cut Operator set up the machine
2. Work in the Automatän Room as an assistant operator
* Feed corrugated sheets into the Automatän
3. Work in Shipping as the Unitizer Operator
* Band finished units of corrugated product
4. Work in the Corrugator Department as the Downstacker Operator or the Baler Operator
* Place load ticket into units of corrugated sheets
* Complete necessary paperwork
5. Work in Joining as the Assistant B Operator on the specialty folder gluers
* Remove bundles of corrugated stock and stack onto bay sheets per customer requirements
6. Work in miscellaneous departments on specific projects
7. Check finished product for quality per customer specifications
8. Ensure quality is a work priority by being attentive to detail and accuracy and by actively seeking work
process improvements- quality is the responsibility of all employees
9. Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors

1. Safety sensitive position - ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner
2. Ability to work overtime and weekends as required based upon the needs of the business

Under direction of the Supervisor, the General Labor employee is responsible for identifying, assembling, packing, sorting, painting, grinding and separating parts by hand in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Load and unload parts to and from the paint line
Check parts off the paint line, making sure all finished pieces are prepped for shipping
Examine work and perform quality checks daily
Pack material ensuring all quality standards are met for all parts
Drive forklift (if certified) to move parts around the plant
Work assembly line if required
Check work area for hazards
Complete any required paperwork (both in paper and electronically)
Leave work area in a clean/safe state when shift is complete
Qualifications

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, production schedules, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
