SUMMARY OF POSITION:
As a General Laborer at Enstructure, you will support terminal and warehouse operations by performing a variety of hands-on tasks to help ensure the safe and efficient movement of cargo. Duties may include cargo handling, equipment spotting, sweeping, cleaning, and assisting equipment operators and supervisors as needed. Disassemble small equipment, cut wires, remove bolts, and process automobile and appliance parts.
Operate recycling equipment such as metal shears, band saws, and wire strippers.
Direct traffic for yard vehicles to ensure smooth operations.
Perform light facility maintenance, including painting, scraping, and moving furniture and equipment.
Assist with machine maintenance by selecting and using tools properly, pulling and installing parts, and supporting machinery repairs.
Maintain cleanliness through sweeping, shoveling, debris collection, and workplace organization.
Perform moderate landscaping work as needed.
Ensure work areas are neat and orderly at all times.
Dispose of various waste materials in the appropriate manner.
Inspect and confirm cleanup is completed properly.
Qualifications and Experience
Previous experience in a physically demanding job preferred but not required.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
