• Must be able to read, write and understand the English language • Working knowledge of reading measurements digital and manual.

• Working knowledge of common hand tools and manufacturing equipment (drills, pliers, tape measures, voltage meters, presses, sanders, etc.)

• Knowledge of “general maintenance” processes, method’s and procedures.

• Ability to disassemble machines, equipment and devices to remove, repair and or replace defective components and/or parts.

• Proven problem-solving skills.

• Cutting, welding skills required

• Basic electrical repair skills required

BASE PAY: $28. 00 -- DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE
Engineering and Maintenance Technician
Lineage Bakery, (a business unit within Lineage Logistics) located in Centralia, WA, manufactures frozen bakery products. Maintenance and Engineering Technicians are responsible for maintaining, and repairing machinery, equipment, physical structures, and electrical systems.

Key duties and responsibilities include:

  • Repair and troubleshoot all manufacturing equipment such as dough mixers, dough sheeting line, conveyors, and packaging equipment.

  • Maintain preventative and predictive maintenance program.

  • Complete daily work order tasks and instructions and ensure all performed work is logged into the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)

Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) include:

  • Experience maintaining manufacturing systems and/or processing equipment in an automated plant; certification from technical training program accepted in lieu of experience

  • Excellent problem solving and critical thinking in pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanics, and electrical control circuits

  • Able to work a flexible schedule and/or overtime as needed 4/10 Maintenance schedule

  • Experience working at heights, LOTO, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
