Develop, implement and maintain various manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration
Develop manufacturing concepts and strategies to support business objectives Develop and integrate suppliers, processes, materials, data and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements Review and approve supplier data to ensure manufacturing related requirements are met Develop tooling requirements based on manufacturing and engineering requirements Manage tools from initial design to end of use disposition Investigate and resolve manufacturing related issues Perform producibility assessments for part or product designs Provide producibility input to design, manufacturing processes and manufacturing technologies to meet cost and schedules Develop integrated work statements and sequencing of events to support delivery commitments Draft, update and review processes and procedures to support business and regulatory agency requirements Work under general direction This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment. Job Details:

JOB SUMMARY:
Prepares manufacturing plans (work orders/travelers) using various engineering and manufacturing documents. Administers and analyzes production work flow for a single or multiple programs. Establishes production order policies, testing and inspection points, sequence of operations and queue times. Assures that the completion and release of the manufacturing plans support production delivery requirements. Reads and interprets engineering drawings and Design Change Requests (DCRs). This position typically works under close supervision and direction.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Creates work orders to maintain proper workflow to meet customer deliveries. Release orders according to lead times to maintain delivery schedule.Assists Quality Engineering, Shop Personnel and Production Control as required.Responsible for data entry as well as preparing planning documents.Creates and updates rework/repair planning to support non-conforming materials.Analyzes engineering designs, parts lists, process specifications and related documents to determine manufacturing tooling requirements.Determines material requirements and adjusts the bill of material per engineering drawings and parts lists

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Two-year college degree, or equivalent, plus a minimum of one year experience in electronic/mechanical manufacturing. A thorough knowledge of manufacturing methods, engineering drawings, symbols and other engineering documents. Must possess good math skills. Must be proficient in excel. Ability to prioritize work, complete multiple tasks and work under deadlines. Good interpersonal skills are essential to perform duties. Able to work with a computer for extended periods of time. Ability to read engineering documents. Will work with multiple plants to coordinate deliveries for on-time shipment. Being Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
