Scope & Impact:

As a part of O-I's Manufacturing Graduate Development Program (GDP), you will have the opportunity to learn from the best in the glass business. Our 18 month rotational program will prepare you for a successful and long-lasting career within our manufacturing areas. You will be offered challenging and diverse opportunities while being supported through a structured learning and development program as you work with subject matter experts.

During the GDP experience, you will spend your first four to six months getting exposure to various roles and operating procedures within a glass manufacturing facility. Following this period, you'll work with our team to determine your specialty deep dive where you'll receive in-depth training for twelve to sixteen months, to prepare you for your first full-time role within the plant. This assignment will be determined based upon your education/experience, personal interest and the company needs.

This position is developmental in nature while supporting all aspects throughout the plant during the rotational program. The person must function equally well in both an office and plant environment.

During the development program, you'll:

Promote and work to a high degree of safety and environmental consciousness at all times including compliance with both statutory & in-house safety and environmental requirements; conduct hazard identification/risk assessment & workplace inspections and safety audits

Collaborate with members in each function and contribute to various business as usual and project-related tasks

Collect, collate, analyze and report on data related to role-relevant processes

Attend relevant training and assessments as required throughout the graduate program

Exhibit a customer centric approach to all aspects of your work

Identify opportunities for improvements in safety, quality and efficiency and work with relevant stakeholders to design and implement improvements into standard operating procedure at O-I

Bring new engineering insights into O-I's manufacturing practices

Drive communication and collaboration within cross-functional workgroups

Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the department including training and development of subordinates and ensuring adherence to housekeeping and hygiene standards

Keep up to date with new developments in glassmaking technologies

As a Manufacturing Program Manager , you will participate in the development of production strategy and roadmaps, develop actionable, prioritized requirements, and act as the primary point of contact between the hardware engineering team and contract manufacturers.

The Job:

• Own and develop the relationship with Formlabs' key contract manufacturers
• Ensure cost, delivery and quality of finished goods from our manufacturing line
• Negotiate the lowest possible transfer price balanced against the quality and scheduling requirements
• Own and execute production planning, continuity of part supply, pricing negotiation, invoicing, and build management
• Drive cross-functional alignment between supply chain, manufacturing engineering and R&D teams
• Facilitate collaboration between engineering and manufacturing partners across the globe

You have:

• 3+ years of experience in program management
• Experienced negotiator with a strong understanding of contract manufacturing cost structure
• Strong business acumen and the ability to make data-driven decisions that prioritize and improve our manufacturing lines
• Knowledge of manufacturing techniques and quality control processes
• Have successfully managed global supply chains, specifically in Europe and Asia
• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Experience in distribution or logistics
• Mandarin language proficiency

+ Extraordinary leadership abilities

**Description**

The MDPM manages innovation within the manufacturing design team by challenging the technical team to implement new processes while maintaining timely readiness for mass production. The MDPM is relationship focused, engaging with a talented engineering team, the executive leadership team, and an international supply chain. Key responsibilities include: Create process development schedules indicating critical path and key decision milestones Facilitate communication and cross functional alignment within the Manufacturing Design organization and with other Apple teams Drive suppliers, integrate their deliverables and schedules into the overall project Utilize a multi-functional team of engineers to meet overall program objectives Lead meetings and document action items and progress. Identify and prioritize project tasks and risks Hold team members accountable for meeting schedule commitments Drive issue resolution and risk management in order to meet timeline Coordinate weekly exec level presentations, crafting the message and prioritizing the open items

BS degree (Mechanical Engineering); MBA or equivalent (preferred)
