Duties & Responsibilities:
Promotes a customer-focused environment by providing friendly, courteous and helpful service that provides customers with desired products, services and experiences.
Greets customers entering the store and thanks customers for their business.
Ensures the store is "customer ready" at all times.
Regularly practices suggestive selling by asking customers if they would like to include an additional purchase or recommending a product that might suit the customer.
Prioritizes needs for the day and utilizes lists to ensure all tasks are accomplished.
Ensures cash drawer is accurate and has adequate change at the beginning of their shift.
Records all sales promptly and accurately according to company policy.
Receives product deliveries and ensures accuracy of order and invoice.
Minimizes controllable expenses by following company guidelines regarding the handling of spoilage, breakage and items for store use.
Follows company policies regarding the sale of alcohol, tobacco and lottery tickets.
Verifies the age of customers purchasing alcohol or tobacco.
Prepares food and beverages according to health regulations and company standards.
Maintains a safe working area and keeps walkways clean of slip or trip hazards.
Follows company and location safety policies and promptly reports any and all accidents by employees, customers and vendors that occur on company premises.
Performs housekeeping activities as needed including sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning and servicing restrooms, emptying garbage, and dusting and cleaning the store.
Maintains and cleans the grounds and parking lot; maintains fueling island supplies including towels, windshield wash buckets and squeegees.
Other Expectations:
Reports to work for scheduled shifts, on-time, appropriately uniformed and ready to work.
Clocks in and out accurately for each shift.
Provides excellent communication with manager and coworkers.

POSITION SUMMARY
Accurately cuts/saws mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum raw materials such as shafting, tubing, angle, channel, and other structural shapes.
Read blueprints, department work instructions, routings and drawings.
Expands and notch end of tubing according to print.
Operate punch press as needed.
Examine saw sheet and pull required material from steel racks.
Set up stops on the saw for multiple cuts.
Set up proper saw speeds and feed rate for the blade along with maintaining an adequate level of coolant.
Following instructions on mixing and adding coolant when necessary.
Check the accuracy of cut lengths and be aware when to change worn blades so as not to interfere with accuracy and production rates.
The operator checks the pieces of steel in the cutoff rack to utilize the smaller lengths when possible.
Safely handling 20-40 ft lengths of steel as individual pieces are in bundles.
De-burring all cut pieces to smooth ends.
Adjust machine controls to alter position, alignment, speed, or pressure.
Examine, measure, and weigh materials or products to verify conformance to specifications, using measuring devices such as rulers, micrometers, or scales.
Monitor operation of cutting or slicing machines to detect malfunctions or to determine whether supplies need replenishment.
Safely operating overhead crane.
Operate a forklift to help unload steel trucks when a delivery is made and put the materials away in the designated racks.
Maintains an organized and clean work area.

Position Overview: The Team Member is the core of the Caribou experience. They are responsible for creating day making experiences through delivering unparalleled guest service, making world-class hand-crafted beverages and bringing the Purpose and Values of Caribou to life in every interaction.

Provides incredible Guest Service by:

Skills and Qualifications
Required:
Ability to work at least one of the following: early mornings, evenings, some holidays and/or weekends.
Must be at least 16 years of age.
Preferred:
Restaurant, retail, or guest service experience.
