This stipend position offers a unique opportunity to support the development and execution of MyCAP implementation at Bellingham Public Schools. Team members will work together to create curriculum scope and sequences and individual lesson plans for successful MyCAP implementation at both Bellingham High School and Bellingham Memorial School. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Attend three (3) half-day MyCap Team Meetings and perform work outside of contracted hours. Explore and internalize the MyCAP process, conduct a Readiness Assessment, and develop a MyCAP Scope and Sequence. Also, contribute to the design and development of MyCAP curriculum and initiatives, ensuring they meet the needs of students and align with current industry trends. Draft a MyCAP Vision Statement and implementation Plan complete with project goals, action steps, and success measures. Help gather data to evaluate the success of programs and provide feedback for continuous improvement. Build buy-in and engagement from stakeholders outside of the MyCAP Team. Adhere to Policies and Procedures: Follow all Bellingham School Committee policies, and district guidelines. SKILLS/ABILITY: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate with various stakeholders. Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment with educators, administrators, and community partners. Familiarity with current trends in career education, workforce development, and innovation pathways.
