. Team Support DMNC - Servo Module, Dept. 315 Core Hours: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM This position is responsible for ensuring that the department has all of the materials necessary to run production. This includes taking an inventory of the necessary materials, tools and equipment and ensuring that they are available in accordance with production schedules. Initiates and supports changeovers and relieves Associates on the line when required. Responsibilities: · Verifies proper work procedures are being followed. · Supplies all materials necessary for production using the Kanban system. · Replaces Associates on the line when required. · Performs changeovers and ensures that workstations have the proper parts, work instructions and supplies necessary to meet daily requirements. · Monitors line activity and production output to ensure that the line is running in accordance to the daily plan. Any equipment problems, manpower concerns or abnormal conditions in product must be communicated to the Team Leader. · Responsible for basic troubleshooting, repair of production equipment and fabrication of process support materials. · Acts as a mentor and trains new Associates to all quality and production requirements. Retrains current Associates on any process changes. · Ensures Associates are operating in a safe manner. · Ensures compliance with all IATF-16949 requirements.
