This position will assist the Craft Superintendents in building Testing & Turnover Packages as well as vetting line lists and P&IDs. Additionally, this position will also assist the Completions group with "walk down" validations of in specification adherence. The Port Arthur facility is comprised of two Steam Methane Reformer (SMR) with integrated gas turbine generators, and CO2 capture facilities at both SMR's, supporting enhanced oil recovery. The site is tied into an existing hydrogen pipeline system that spans from New Orleans to the Houston Ship Channel and supplies hydrogen to the integrated supply network for consumption by customers across the Gulf Coast Franchise. As an operator you are responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting the equipment and facility. The basic function of this role is to provide necessary technical and hands- on support to continuously improve plant operation, maintenance, mechanical equipment integrity, reliability, cost, and on-stream factor. This is a 12-hour shift position that works a rotating shift schedule. Key responsibilities for this position include: Participate in the basic safety process as a key member of the Site Safety committee and sharing responsibility for the site's overall safety performance. Provide day-to-day operation of the plant to support the plant on-stream, production and reliability targets. Investigate equipment failures, determine root cause of failure, and recommend appropriate solutions to reduce reoccurrence of/or eliminate cause of failure. Maintain an error-free execution. Pay very close attention to details and implement work to the highest possible standard. Apply a Continuous Improvement philosophy to daily work. The LGUS HyCO division of Linde, Inc. is currently seeking a Production Technician in Liberty, TX. The production technician, working under the direction of lead technicians and the facilities manager, has responsibility for supporting day-to-day operations at the Moss Bluff facility. The facility produces supports the hydrogen pipeline via hydrogen storage in a salt cavern and boosting capabilities, this site also runs and supports a PSA site in Baytown. In this role, you will be responsible for operating the equipment associated with PSA, compressors, dryers, Salt Caverns, and oil removal systems. Primary Responsibilities: Adjustments to process variables. Startup and shutdown of process equipment. Preparing equipment for maintenance work including lock-out tag-out. Correctly and safely permit maintenance work. Monitoring equipment performance. Responsibilities require 12-hour shift rotation, on-call, and scheduled overtime. Effectively communicate with fellow operators, technicians, engineers, and managers. Adhere to all Corporate and Plant policies. Maintain the highest degree of personal safety and environmental accountability at all times. Maintain high standards of housekeeping. Participate in daily and monthly safety and production meetings. Qualifications: Qualifications: HS Diploma. Associate degree preferred. 2 years Production/Operations experience or equivalent industrial experience.
