Basic Qualifications

Job Description
Key responsibilities for this role include:
Batch processing and liquid production of solvents. Loading and offloading of bulk chemical solvents and blends into tanker trucks, holding vessels, railcars and drums.

POSITION SUMMARY: The production technician will be responsible for efficiently operating specialty CNC manufacturing equipment in a production setting, transporting materials in process and performing assembly processes. The technician will be responsible for maintaining quality products and interacting with the operations and engineering teams to improve processes to maximize production volumes and minimize scrapped production due to in-process defects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct setups and load materials to perform production operations.
Monitor production processes and adjust machine settings as needed to ensure consistent quality and efficient production rates.
Inspect and measure machined parts to ensure they meet design specifications and quality standards.
Use precision tools and equipment, such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges, to measure and verify dimensions.
Follow standard operating procedures and work instructions to ensure consistent and high-quality production.
Keep work area clean and organized and maintain equipment in good working condition.
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
Assist with other production-related tasks as needed.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining or manufacturing is preferred
Strong attention to detail and quality control skills
Experienced in production assembly operations
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Experience with manual machining equipment, including lathes, milling machines, and drill presses
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Must be willing to travel.
Ability to work flexible hours as needed to meet production schedules.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Six sigma/lean methodologies

Experience in fiberglass repair industry (2+ years)
Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
PLC and HMI diagnostic/repair experience is a plus (2+ year).
CERTIFICATIONS/LISCENCES: Must obtain and maintain the applicable employee license with the Texas Railroad Commission; must pass test within 45 days of hire. Must possess a current and valid driver license with a driving record that meets the insurability guidelines set forth by the company's insurance carrier.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This role requires the operator to perform the following:
Stand for long periods of time.
Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and parts up to 50 lbs.
Perform repetitive motions with the hands/wrists/arms.
Bending, twisting, and reaching to access the materials and machine components.
Pushing or pulling heavy carts or dollies.

Position Summary: The
Production Technician
will be involved in all activities related to a goal-directed Shift Team, to achieve CSC goals and highest standards of Safety/Housekeeping, Quality, Cost and Production during his/her shift, with a particular responsibility for general team support. Job Description
PRIMARY FUNCTION
Under the guidance of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Electro-Mechanical Technician (EMT), supports operation, inspection, and maintenance processes from mechanical, electrical, and plumbing for all production equipment and systems within the facility.
