Primary Level Salary Range: $55,500.00 - $92,500.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Job duties may change as required by needs of the company. Review project instructions and blueprints to ascertain specifications, procedures and objectives. Compute mathematical formulas to develop and design detailed specifications for components or machinery using computer aided equipment. Coordinate with and consult other workers to design, layout, or detail components and systems to resolve design issues or problems. Conduct DXF preparation or modification as needed. Inspect lines or figures for clarity and correct erroneous drawings. Design scale or full-size blueprints of equipment and components. Layout and draw schematic, orthographic or angle views to depict functional relationships of components, assemblies, systems, and machines. Check the dimensions of materials, components or assemblies for conformance. Evaluate designs by measuring drawing dimensions and comparing with original specifications for conformance. Review and determine basic specifications from existing product calculators and worksheets. Collaborate with Customer Service, Engineering, and Manufacturing on coordination design and scheduling needs of the product to meet the customer's needs. Process shop floor changes as required using the appropriate procedures to provide proper documentation for production. Perform all clerical and application tasks associated with the Engineering department using the existing software and electronic processes including, but not limited to SAP, Excel, Work, and Outlook. Prepare drawings, BOMs, and necessary documentation to ensure smooth and accurate flow of product production. This requires working knowledge of SAP, Autodesk and Windows Office. Confirm and process replacement part orders to the extent of providing production with proper documentation. Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor. Responsibilities are subject to change based on the supervisor's direction. Contribute and support to maintaining a safe work environment for yourself and your fellow co-workers and comply with all company policies and procedures as required. Ability to work under tight deadlines not limited to working overtime or alternate shifts.
