What You Will Be Doing
As an Additive Manufacturing Technician, you will be responsible for owning the process for printing, de-powdering, vacuum furnace operation, HIP furnace operation, and build plate post-processing. You will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our additive manufacturing equipment and processes.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Running and maintaining the Solar vacuum furnace, including stress relief and aging profiles
* Running and maintaining the AIP HIP furnace for multiple materials
* Performing build plate resurfacing for large-scale additive build plates, including EDM, surface grinding, and full inspection
* Running and maintaining two large-scale additive machines in two materials
* Providing updates and tracking on all jobs, consumables, and costs to customers and leadership
* Partnering across manufacturing functions to build relationships in downstream and upstream processes

Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar engineering degree, or equivalent experience
* Ability to obtain a Secret level clearance
* Experience in heat treatment, either vacuum furnaces or HIP furnaces, additive experience a plus.
