The Process Technician is responsible for controlling and executing elements of an extrusion process including raw material and finished goods logistics; process addition and mixing of raw materials, and packaging process responsibilities include monitoring of critical control points and ensuring finished goods packaging and pallets meet customer expectations. The role holder will have significant levels of autonomy to make decisions and solve problems around the process. These will include setup, operation, routine preventative maintenance, and sanitation of equipment and areas of responsibility. Objectives include safely providing the highest quality product within specifications with the least amount of waste and ensuring that the plant is available to always meet the planned production levels while ensuring strict compliance with Health and Safety and housekeeping requirements. This level of technician can complete batch folders, confirm DAX accuracy of batches, and log batch data in the correct folders. A technician will need to utilize Microsoft Dynamics AX to accurately track, consume, and create finished products in our database system. This includes clearing put production areas after a batch is completed. · Must be able to manage production lines from the start of the process to the staging of finished product with 100% accuracy of batches. · Must have HMI and mechanical problem-solving abilities to course correct to prevent and limit un-planned down time. · Must be able to at times step in to perform Lead Technician responsibilities for short periods of time which include the monitoring and production of multiple production lines at the same time. · Must have technical knowledge of bucket elevator timing to safely reset buckets, adjust chain, and adjust tension. · Must be trained and competent in both the scissor lift and boom lift. Key Tasks and Responsibilities * Develop and construct quality assurance test plans based on product specifications and requirements. * Perform routine and non-routine analysis of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products using various testing devices and procedures. * Collect, measure, and weigh samples of materials in accordance with established sampling plans. * Conduct analytical tests on samples using instrumentation and equipment, interpreting results to assess factors such as purity, particle size, and hardness. * Apply arithmetic formulas and statistical methods to analyze test data and evaluate product quality. * Document and report test results accurately and promptly, maintaining comprehensive records of all tests conducted. * Collaborate closely with production teams and other departments to perform and validate tests, ensuring adherence to predetermined quality guidelines. * Recommend changes to quality guidelines based on test results and continuous improvement initiatives. * Calibrate and maintain testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results. * Implement quality control procedures and protocols to meet regulatory standards and customer specifications. * Provide training and guidance to production personnel on quality standards, testing methods, and procedures. Skills and Abilities * Proficient in conducting analytical tests using various testing devices and instrumentation. * Strong mathematical skills and ability to apply arithmetic formulas and statistical methods for data analysis. * Detail-oriented with excellent documentation and record-keeping abilities. * Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally. * Problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and resolve quality issues. * Familiarity with quality control standards, regulations, and procedures. * Experience in calibration and maintenance of testing equipment is advantageous. Education/Experience * Associate degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Engineering Technology, or a related field; or equivalent work experience in manufacturing * Previous experience in quality control or quality assurance within a fabrication or manufacturing environment is preferred. The Plant Operations Tech II is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures throughout the hospital and hospital-owned facilities. This role requires troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintaining specialized hospital systems such as emergency generator power, fire alarms, and nurse call systems. The Maintenance Technician performs and documents preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment, HVAC, plumbing, and life safety systems, ensuring compliance with electrical codes, hospital safety protocols, and regulatory standards. The position participates in an on-call rotation and responds to emergency calls as needed. The Maintenance Technician maintains accurate documentation of work performed and updates maintenance records regularly. In addition to electrical work, the technician must be able to perform tasks in all trades, including construction, plumbing, HVAC, painting, and specialized healthcare systems. Responsibilities also include supporting Infection Prevention protocols during maintenance activities to prevent contamination, participating as a member of the decontamination team, and assisting other team members with repairs and work order completion for building systems such as mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, HVAC, generators, boilers, and lighting. Schedule: Monday-Friday Hours: 7:30-4:00 Requirements: High School Graduate or equivalent preferred. Knowledge of various hand tools. Previous maintenance experience preferred. Knowledge of construction trades helpful. Valid driver's license. Ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical diagrams. Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills, attention to detail and good documentation skills.
