Shift Time:
1st Shift - 7am - 3:30pm
2nd Shift - 3pm to 11:30pm
NOTE - This can be a somewhat dirty job. Someone that will be using their hands to clean, deburrs, and blasts parts. Automotive techs work well in this role.
* Deburr - Remove sharp edges using hand tools.
* Refine - Blending of metal and plastics using handheld pneumatic (air Powered) tools.
* Sandblasting - Using Bead and Glass media to texture surface.
* Chemical Processing - Manage robotic cleaning system and validating titration of tanks is within spec. (Titration steps are like what a tech performs at a pool store to check water values)
PROCESS OPERATIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepares metal and composite products for processing and performs chemical processing on both standard and non-standard processes. Assigned to work on the more complex or difficult products or tasks.
Works with Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering in developing new processes as needed.
On a limited basis, may perform minor process duties such as: Passivates, deburrs alodines, cleans, pickles, blasts, refines, and tumbles parts; uses tools and small equipment to assemble parts per specifications or work instructions.
Performs visual and final inspection of parts.
Displays proper handling of all equipment and waste, including hazardous waste.
Monitors chemical concentration in cleaning baths according to procedure as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
One or more year's prior directly related paint, cleaning or manufacturing process experience. Fully qualified/certified in majority of operations and products and demonstrated ability to meet or exceed production and quality standards.
Thorough knowledge of policies, procedures and systems in functional area and ability to effectively troubleshoot problem situations.
Proficient in reading, understanding and following blueprints, engineering orders, specifications, and verbal instructions. Able to perform basic to intermediate mathematical calculations.
Effectively applies lean initiatives. Maintains and can interpret operational and quality metrics and actively contributes improvement suggestions.
Demonstrates effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, as well as the ability to work in a team environment. Able to participate and provide input to engineering or other leaders on operational status or performance.
Effectively demonstrates team member competencies and participates in goal setting, performance feedback, and self-development activities.
Read and Write English proficiently

Track all work time using time-tracking software.
3. Quality Assurance
Read and understand blueprints and manufacturing drawings.
Verify materials and procedures match specifications.
Troubleshoot product failures.
Validate in-process work to ensure accuracy.
Work with engineering to improve designs and documentation.
Submit technical requests and manage tool logs.
Investigate and repair returned products (RMAs).
Document nonconformances and root causes in TipQA.
Perform basic repairs on test equipment and validate performance.
4. Safety & Continuous Improvement
Follow all plant safety rules.
Participate in process improvement initiatives.
Keep workstations organized and clean (6S standards).
5. Teamwork
Communicate with engineers, leads, and supervisors to solve problems.
Join daily production meetings.

Qualifications

Skills

For Prepress, the associate will create production-ready layouts for digital printers and other production-based machines utilizing Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Esko Automation, and various RIP Software. About the Team:

Prepress:

Properly utilize Esko Automation Engine and other standard processes to produce efficient layouts quickly.
Ensure the printer operators have all necessary information prior to printing.

Possess a strong sense of organization.
Capable of multi-tasking and managing multiple workflows and processes is a requirement.
Proofing:
Prepare sign proofs from existing templates for customer approval.
Design signage, recreate logos and vector artwork according to customer specifications utilizing Adobe applications and other design software.
When required, interact directly with customers via email, remote, or phone.
Work on internal projects as required, for example, SOPs, product redesigns, etc.
Work directly with Inside Sales to define product requirements and approve designs.

Your Skills and Expertise:

Associates degree in Graphic Art and/or 1-2 years' relevant experience preferred.
Experience in digital print and production machine operation a plus but not required.
Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign required.
Previous experience with digital printing, RIP software, Esko Automation and layout software is a plus.
Knowledge of General Manufacturing a plus.

Compensation:
The position offers a competitive hourly rate of $20.00/hour.
Actual base salaries will vary and may be above or below the recommended pay range based on factors such as but not limited to location, relevant experience and performance. Summary
The Production Tech tends one or more machine tools, special purpose machines, or works to specifications on production basis for assembling an entire product or components of a product to produce the highest quality product for the end user.

Duties and Responsibilities
Lifts work piece manually onto pallets or workstation for assembly.
Perform quality checks on products and parts
Inspects and measures machined work pieces to verify conformance to specifications.
Count and assemble kits for other components.
Wrap and box components.
Cleans machined parts. i.e. drill table, drill press.
Tends machines and equipment other than machine tools.

Box Taping Machine
Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Problem Solving Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Working Hours: Hours will be 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday through Friday

What You'll Do
Accurately measure, mix, and blend cannabis distillates and terpenes according to established formulations and SOPs
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and mixing tools in a clean, safe, and compliant manner
Assist in the preparation of raw materials and finished products for packaging and testing
Follow safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a compliant work environment
Conduct visual inspections and quality checks during formulation to ensure consistency and accuracy
Collaborate with production leads and management to troubleshoot and optimize processes
Maintain organization and cleanliness of the formulation lab and storage areas
Support inventory tracking of ingredients, materials, and finished batches
What You'll Bring
1+ year of experience in a production, laboratory, or food/pharmaceutical manufacturing environment (cannabis experience a plus)
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise measurements and procedures
Familiarity with basic lab or production equipment and safety protocols
Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Team player with good communication and collaboration skills
Must be at least 21 years of age
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Facility Agent Card in accordance with Florida state regulations
