A Day in the Life:
Receive daily assignments and manufacturing schedule from Supervisor. Assign work to self, processors and servicers so that schedule can be met. Coordinate work based on schedule. Advise supervisor if there is a problem meeting the schedule.
Ensure processors perform efficient manufacturing processes. Perform some manufacturing processes. Apply aseptic technique knowledge and ensure processors comply.
Maintain quality products and equipment in manufacturing. Observe and implement all current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), safety precautions and housekeeping practices in performing duties. Align with cGMP, Occupational Safety Health Agency (OSHA) and company rulings. Keep area neat and clean.
Assist supervisor in training in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), cGMPs, safety procedures.

Job Description
The Quality Technician will be responsible for ensuring all cabinets and components meet company and customer quality standards throughout the production process. This role will involve inspecting materials, monitoring production lines, performing product testing, and documenting quality findings to maintain compliance with internal specifications and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect raw materials, in-process components, and finished cabinets to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
Perform routine measurements and tests using tools such as calipers, tape measures, and other inspection equipment.
Document and communicate quality issues, defects, or non-conformances to production and quality teams.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing bio-process equipment and non-process equipment supporting manufacturing process.
Investigates and provides repairs to equipment and instrumentation systems as assigned.
Maintain bio-process equipment including, but not limited to: Bioreactors, Autoclaves, Centrifuges, CIPs, Chromatography Systems, Buffer Skids, Filtration Skids and Lab Equipment.
Execute predictive and preventive maintenance on GMP and non GMP process equipment.

Interpret and respond to equipment and process alarms as needed.
Use diagnostic equipment to identify and repair problems.
Complete NC boiler operator certification training as directed.
Work with team to optimize equipment performance and reduce downtime.
Serves as technical expert within area of expertise and has conceptual and basic working knowledge of maintenance disciplines outside technical expertise
Carries out all duties in compliance with all company, state and federal regulations and guidelines including FDA, EPA, OSHA, DEA and TSA.
Ensures regulatory and job training remains current by promptly completing required training
Comply with all company and/or site policies and procedures
Complete all GMP documentation to support maintenance activities and supply legible and complete documentation of work orders as required
Participate in PM development and optimization
Order basic supplies as needed
Participate in Maintenance projects as required including but not limited to Root Cause Analysis, FMEA's, and Non- Conformance investigations
Support “Operator Asset Care” program for manufacturing areas
Demonstrates willingness to learn new skills as required
Support new equipment commissioning/qualifications
Assist with inventory control and spare parts orders.
Represents the shop as SME and/or coordinates all maintenance deliverables on site wide projects
People-Leadership: Leads and trains others. Acts as shop coordinator and/or substitutes for Team Leader in his/her absence
Systems-Leader: Able to coordinate with business units outside of maintenance. Able to lead programs within the maintenance department.

High School Diploma
Trade / Technical School certification or Certification in Craft required. Military equivalent of Trade / Technical School certification is accepted.
0-2 years of related industrial experience
Required:
Knowledgeable in general maintenance with the willingness of acquiring experience in at least 1 maintenance discipline: mechanical, electrical, controls, and/or instrumentation
Proficient performing general maintenance equipment repairs (troubleshooting basic maintenance tasks based on complexity under direct supervision (e.g. reading PI&Ds, troubleshooting electrical circuits, performing instrument calibrations, performing mechanical repairs, etc.)
Knowledge in outlook, words, excel and power point programs.
Ability to use industrial control systems.
Critical thinking mindset (data analysis and historical trends, draw rational conclusions, and act on the findings
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measurement using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
Preferred:
Knowledge of cGMP's for Maintenance in an GMP regulated environment.
Scientific or technical qualification in either mechanical, electrical, instrumentation & controls, utilities engineering.
Experience of Delta V, PLC and SCADA system
