· Perform workmanship evaluations on plastic parts (flash, damage, discoloration, contamination, etc.) using microscopes
· Compile and explore measurement data and statistics to assess measurement methods and process capability
· Perform Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility (GRR) studies to evaluate measurement methods
· Perform tests and records data on spreadsheets
· Identify and Report Non-conformances of product or processes
· Provide help for Corrective Action investigation

The Technician is responsible for the conversion of micro-prism films. The Manufacturing Conversion Technician I, manages material flow on the equipment, monitors operation, makes operating adjustments (as required) and verifies product quality and equipment operating conditions to assure conformance to specifications. The Technician follows all required ISO documentation. The Technician is responsible for area housekeeping and following proper safety procedures plus recommending changes to enhance equipment performance and improve safety.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
During day to day production operations, Technicians generate hazardous wastes. The types of wastes generated during production may include ignitable solvents, solvent wipers and debris, used oil, non-hazardous resins, and non-hazardous solids.
Technicians manage satellite storage of these wastes.
Responsible for verifying that satellite containers are compatible with their contents and are sealed unless waste is physically being added or removed.
Ensure that all satellite containers used to accumulate waste are approved by the U.S Department of Transportation (DOT), and that containers are labeled with the words Hazardous Waste and other words that further describe the waste.
Because Technicians routinely handle hazardous waste and Orafol is a large quantity generator (LQG), Technicians are required to attend annual hazardous waste training required by 40 CFR 262.34 (a)(4).
Technicians verify that satellite accumulation areas are located at or near the point of generation (The facility may only accumulate up to 55 gallons of hazardous waste or 1 quart of acute hazardous waste at each satellite accumulation area).
When the quantity limit is reached or a container is full, Technicians are required to add the accumulation start date to the container label and, within three days, transfer the waste container to the hazardous waste storage area.
Prior to transferring containers to the hazardous waste storage area, Technicians are responsible for remove the attached pour off funnels, if present, and seal the container with U.N. approved closures (i.e. bungs).
Technicians use appropriate container handling procedures and equipment to minimize the potential for a release of hazardous waste during transfer.
Technicians are also responsible for placing containers in the appropriate storage location within the hazardous waste storage area and for verifying that waste containers have adequate secondary containment. This includes segregating potentially incompatible wastes. In the event of a release of hazardous waste, Technicians will isolate the immediate area, warn others in the affected area and notify the primary and/or alternate emergency coordinator. ORAFOL employees are only authorized to respond to incidental releases as defined by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) in 29 CFR 1910.120.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
During day to day production operations, Technicians generate hazardous wastes. The types of wastes generated during production may include ignitable solvents, solvent wipers and debris, used oil, non-hazardous resins, and non-hazardous solids.
Technicians manage satellite storage of these wastes.
Responsible for verifying that satellite containers are compatible with their contents and are sealed unless waste is physically being added or removed.
Ensure that all satellite containers used to accumulate waste are approved by the U.S Department of Transportation (DOT), and that containers are labeled with the words Hazardous Waste and other words that further describe the waste.
Because Technicians routinely handle hazardous waste and Orafol is a large quantity generator (LQG), Technicians are required to attend annual hazardous waste training required by 40 CFR 262.34 (a)(4).
Technicians verify that satellite accumulation areas are located at or near the point of generation (The facility may only accumulate up to 55 gallons of hazardous waste or 1 quart of acute hazardous waste at each satellite accumulation area).
When the quantity limit is reached or a container is full, Technicians are required to add the accumulation start date to the container label and, within three days, transfer the waste container to the hazardous waste storage area.
Prior to transferring containers to the hazardous waste storage area, Technicians are responsible for remove the attached pour off funnels, if present, and seal the container with U.N. approved closures (i.e. bungs).
Technicians use appropriate container handling procedures and equipment to minimize the potential for a release of hazardous waste during transfer.
Technicians are also responsible for placing containers in the appropriate storage location within the hazardous waste storage area and for verifying that waste containers have adequate secondary containment. This includes segregating potentially incompatible wastes. In the event of a release of hazardous waste, Technicians will isolate the immediate area, warn others in the affected area and notify the primary and/or alternate emergency coordinator. ORAFOL employees are only authorized to respond to incidental releases as defined by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) in 29 CFR 1910.120.

Principal Responsibilities
Capable of reading and understanding complex drawings.
Ability to use a variety of complex inspection gages and equipment.
Performs visual and dimensional inspection of various mechanical components and assemblies to close tolerances.
Identifies defects in surface, dimensional, visual and non-conformities (material, documentation and workmanship) to blue prints and Heim quality standards. Reports non-conformance of materials or unusual conditions to Quality management.

The Production Technician is responsible for all aspects of plant processing from post-crop harvest through packaging and labeling of the final product ready for customer sale as outlined by the management team and SOPs. These responsibilities include post-harvest tasks including the drying and curing stage all the way through trimming, packaging, and labeling the product. This position works in a timely manner and strives to increase productivity and acts with professional regard to the management and use of all production facilities and processing equipment.
Major Areas of Responsibility include:
Assists in the post-harvest plant processing of cannabis.
Fan leaf removal, harvest, drying, trimming, curing, weighing, packaging, labeling,
recording, and inspection of product in addition to cleaning and sanitation.
Maintains a clean and organized work environment.
Transport harvested plants to drying room and hang to be dried.
Hand trims and/or operates a trimming machine to remove excess plant material.
Weighs, records, and shreds plants waste and adds a non-cannabis medium for compliant
disposal.
Receives instructions and assists on tasks as delegated by management team.
Works in a quick and efficient manner.
Complies with all HR policies including confidentiality and non-disclosure.
Minimum Qualifications (Skills, Knowledge & Abilities):
All applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
1-3 years of experience in production position; including hands-on production activities.
