Understanding work orders and bill of materials and ability to review and sign off on materials as required. Count and stack boxed product(s) in a neat and thorough manner. Move, stack, wrap, and replace pallets on robot. Bag packets into bags utilizing appropriate equipment/machinery. Perform accurate hand-counting of packets. Complete housekeeping duties regularly, following standard operating procedures and operational needs including but not limited to: sweeping, squeegeeing floors, cleaning process equipment, etc. Report waste and scrap materials in an accurate and timely manner. Verify that all materials match the specifications outlined in work orders. Labeling containers to meet customer specifications and federal regulations. Can speak to and perform the process of preparing contaminated instruments for cleaning, transporting contaminated instruments to sterile processing department, and how to retrieve clean sterilized instruments from sterile processing department. Assist with supply inventory by locating expired supplies and informing necessary personnel when inventory is low, depleted, or on backorder and takes appropriate action. 4. Accesses and handles selected medications and administers contrast. Administers contrast material in the correct dosage, route and observes patients for adverse reactions. Informs and assists physicians and radiologists with patient scheduling, patient transfers, and emergency cases ensuring that all preexam procedures are followed including allergic reaction and level tests. 5. Processes acquired images onto PACS. Ensures that images and records are properly completed with patient identification data and appropriate labeling. Completes exam charges and image documentation in a timely manner. 6. Operates and maintains equipment including warm-up, running quality assurance checks, calibration, provide routine troubleshooting procedures, request repair and notifying supervisor of maintenance needs. Maintains a record of quality assurance tests to ensure that equipment runs efficiently and effectively. Maintains all passwords to each computer system. Linde Gases US (LGUS) is currently seeking a Production Technician in Brownsville, TX. The production technician is responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of Cryogenic Air Separation plants. This position reports to a Plant Manager and will also work collaboratively with the area Coordinator and technicians. The technician, with minimal supervision, must be able to produce results and has primary responsibility for their assigned plants. Production Technicians must employ safety focused actions, demonstrate initiative and self-motivation. The technician is supported through managerial supervision, lead/area technicians, engineers, sales, and other technical support. The role will facilitate the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment to include but not limited to cryogenic liquid and gas storage vessels, vaporization systems, cylinders, gas purifiers, gas analyzers and sampling cabinets, filtration systems, pipelines, valves of all varieties, pumps, compressors, and instrumentation/control systems. This position requires a combination of office work and field work. Employee must be able to access elevated electrical and mechanical equipment via ladders, scaffolding, and aerial work platforms. Working extended hours and/or weekends, holidays and call-ins may be required based on facility activities. Technician also have on-call duties (on a rotating basis). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are paramount to be successful. Attention to detail is a must! Primary Responsibilities: Effectively commission, operate, calibrate/maintain, and troubleshoot gas and cryogenic liquid production systems, gas purification systems, gas analytical systems and gas storage, vaporization, and delivery systems. Perform plant shutdowns and start-ups using approved procedures. Troubleshooting plant process & equipment problems and implementing solutions. Assist with maintaining, troubleshooting, and rebuild industrial instruments including transmitters, process control systems, meters, and automatic valves. Safely troubleshoot, maintain, and assist in the repair of mechanical systems including valves, piping, pumps, fans, motors, etc. Propose, prepare and execute projects to improve availability and reliability of equipment and systems or reduce cost of ownership and operation. Read and maintain P&IDs and schematic wiring diagrams in compliance with both company and customer SOPs, SMP, COP, QA, and MOC policies. Coordinate scheduling of planned or requested maintenance and procurement of materials. Complete and disposition maintenance and QC records and production reports accurately and on-time. Perform LOTO, complete HWPs, and safely permit maintenance work; organize external resources to support activities and oversee their performance. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management System to execute, document and continuously improve preventative and corrective maintenance strategy. Collect and interpret trends in equipment and process condition monitoring data. Anticipate or recognize issues based on collected data and resolve or escalate immediately. Commit to achieving individual and team goals and encourage colleagues to do the same. Is available for on-call duties per pre-determined schedule with other technicians. Qualifications: Qualifications: Associate degree or certificate in a technical discipline or recent military training in a technical field. Military technical fields: Machinist Mates, Electrician Mates, Gas Turbine Technicians, Boiler Technicians a plus. Minimum 2 years' experience in industrial plant operations or maintenance preferred. Climb ladders up to 200 feet and perform elevated work. Be able to wear all required personal protective equipment. Lift 45 to 75 lbs. occasionally. Candidate should possess strong working knowledge, literacy and demonstrated capability with Microsoft Office products. Operate a forklift and aerial manlift once qualified by the company. Be on-call and work overtime for plant issues during off hours and weekends.
