POSITION SUMMARY We are seeking a full-time, Production Technician to join our high-performance team and be a part of our journey to shape the future of the Northern Virginia area data center community by delivering resilient and sustainable solutions that make a difference. This individual will be responsible for inspecting final products and performing quality control evaluations to confirm items meet established standards. They will also perform routine maintenance and repairs as well as ensuring the facility maintains a safe and healthy work environment. The Production Technician will maintain production logs, other documentation and collaborate with other departments to optimize production processes. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES PRODUCTION - Collaborate with Production Manager and Production Lead to coordinate department personnel and direct daily tasks and objectives to ensure project deadlines are met. Participate with department team in mechanical and electrical product assembly & testing of production products including filtration, consumption monitoring & related systems. Operate and maintain any machinery and tools and report any issues to the manager. TRAINING - Work with Manager and Training staff to train new employees in production processes and equipment. Ensure new and existing safety procedures are effectively implemented and followed at all times. PRODUCTION DEVELOPMENT - Interface with Production Manager and Production Lead to develop production requirements and procedures for new products and product modifications. Communicate with the manager about production challenges and make any suitable recommendations. PRODUCTION QUALITY - Responsible for implementation of product quality control procedures and production processes to ensure quality objectives. Perform quality control checks to ensure products meet specifications. Collaborate with Production and Engineering departments to ensure quality objectives and corrective actions are implemented and maintained. KEY TEAM JOB TASKS Performing maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on diesel fuel filtration equipment. Assembling mechanical components and parts. Completing quality work checks for accuracy. Identifying and documenting any component part defects. Maintaining a well-organized workstation. Customer interface while performing preventive maintenance in the field including checking components, performing maintenance on fuel systems, and changing fuel filters. Executing diesel fuel sampling in above and underground tanks following safety requirements. KEY COMPETENCIES Servant Leadership in developing and building a high-performance service team. Main Duties / Required: Knowledge of inscribing IP addresses on cameras Knowledge of the Lenel brand Expertise with security related items( DPS, Card Readers, Cameras, Locks, Cabling) Knowledge and use of basic telecom hand tools. Accept responsibility of outcome of work performed. Must understand customer service. Clear understanding of job safety requirements. Be able to read and understand job floor plan. Should be familiar on wiring schemes and wiring testing. Should be able to pull all types of low voltage cable. Should understand and be capable in performing field terminations and labeling. Capable of maintaining orderly paperwork, capable of running midsize projects and service jobs. Possess skill to layout MDF and IDF closets, be able to dress all types of cable and perform all types of terminations. Capable of working in Data Centers. Shall be able to work on analog, DSL and be able to extend T1 lines. BE able to patch network equipment. Basic understanding of both copper and fiber cable testing and troubleshooting. Reports to Operations Manager and take daily directions from Technician, Technician II, Lead Technicians, Senior Technicians and Advance Senior Technicians.
