Duda Farm Fresh Foods is seeking a FSQA/QC Technician to support food safety and quality programs at our Belle Glade facility. This role ensures compliance with food safety practices, verifies product meets customer specifications, and confirms processing rooms meet standards prior to start-up and throughout production.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct food safety and quality inspections during production
Enforce GMPs and food safety procedures; document non-compliance and corrective actions
Verify product quality, labeling, packaging, and date accuracy
Perform inventory age reports and collect product samples
Calibrate QA tools; monitor water systems, ATP swabs, and metal detection
Maintain accurate and organized food safety documentation
Collect environmental, equipment, water, and field samples as needed
Assist with investigations and follow-up on unusual occurrences
Support QA/QC operations at other Duda locations as needed
Qualifications
High school diploma required
6+ months QA/QC or food safety experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Basic computer and documentation skills

Essential Functions
Responsible for overall maintaining of a production line, including starting and stopping of all equipment (palletizers, carton makers, carton sealers, drop packers, injection, etc.) as applicable.
Ability to perform minor adjustments to production equipment as directed. No mechanical work is to be performed without prior approval.
Responsible for accurately completing and updating information forms and logs such as Machine Report, Quality Report, Downtime Report and Carton Top Load Report
Ability to recognize unsafe conditions and actions and follow plant safety rules including safe lifting practices and safe machine operations. Personal protective equipment is to be used where required.
Housekeeping: maintain general housekeeping in all areas of production, including the break rooms and rest rooms. Bale plastic, cardboard and contaminated bottles when needed; grind bottles when needed.
Raw materials: keep bottle caps, labels, cartons, trays, tray and pallet wraps (plastic rolls), pallet glue for hot melt tanks, slip sheets, etc. in adequate amounts to ensure continuous smooth running of equipment and operation.
Maintain quality requirements in accordance with company standards; accurately filling out hourly inspection sheets based on overall production quality. Responsible for recognizing and reporting all quality defects immediately.
Ability to work in multiple areas of production with minimal supervision; perform relief duties when required

We are currently looking for team players to join our production, performing tasks in a manufacturing setting in order to safely craft concrete products in a timely and efficient manner. We produce a variety of retaining wall blocks, and light pole bases. Ideal candidates are dependable individuals who perform all tasks with a safety-mindset and who understand the importance of delivering a high-quality, finished product.

Some of the duties performed are:
Clean and prep empty molds for filling
Operate controls on concrete pouring machinery to fill molds
Remove excess concrete from molds for a clean finish
Ensure products are being filled to the proper heights and cleaned thoroughly
Operate machinery and equipment, such as forklifts, to sort, stack, transport, and load/unload product
Package and label finished products for inventory
Inspect for quality related issues as it relates the molds and forms
Maintain machinery and equipment through daily inspections and cleanliness
Work in a safe and responsible manner that abides by all company procedures and OSHA standards.

Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Assemble, troubleshoot, and test complex subcomponent and system level assemblies

· Assemble, setup & debug electrical assemblies using electrical schematics and procedures

· Create and edit drawings and build and test procedures
· Perform and document results of incoming parts inspections for quality control
· Perform equipment final test, diagnostics, and repairs as needed

At Bruker, base salary is part of our total compensation. The estimated base salary range for this full-time position is between $23 and $42/hr. You will have the ability progress as you grow and develop within a role.
