In charge of performing product inspection and/or audits of quality control programs, first article inspections and calibration, inspecting flat blank layouts, out of box audit (OBA) and sampling and testing of incoming components and raw materials. Responsibilities:
Audits processes, tests and inspects products and/or develops, compiles and evaluates statistical data to define and maintain quality and reliability of products.
Working from engineering drawings, specifications, schematics, diagrams, written descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform complex engineering testing, checkout, First Article Inspection, root cause research, internal corrective actions and supplier correction actions.
Interprets engineering drawings, schematic diagrams or formulas and confers with management or engineering staff to define quality and reliability standards.
Selects processes to be audited from primarily the manufacturing areas and checks for a variety of features, including ESD (electro-static discharge) and handling practices, documentation, training and process integrity.
Selects products for audits at specified stages in the production or post-production process, and tests products for variety of qualities such as dimensions, performance and mechanical, electrical or cosmetic characteristics.
Records audit data, applying statistical quality control procedures.
Evaluates data and writes reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards.
Recommends modifications of existing quality or production standards, programs or reports to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability.
Perform calibration on inspection tools e.g. micrometers, calipers height gages etc.
Maintain gage track program, print list of gages due for calibration in the beginning of each month and follow up with calibration.
Send gages out for calibration, maintain calibration records.
Prepares graphs or charts of data or enters data into computer for research data.
Download quality information from quality system to be used for QA reports.
Research for engineering test results and implements process changes to resolve problems.
Performs out of box audits (OBA) as required.
Provides factory hold up to identify and resolve issues associated with purchased parts, materials and manufacturing.
May be required to perform receiving inspection.
Review at the beginning of the shift the Quality Auditors assistance and validated the Check List.
Scrap disposition at MRB in less than 24 hours.
Assure that the Customer implementation activities are in place.
Meet the SSYMA requirements (boats, goggles, gloves, ear plugs).
Review the SPC data and confirm the actions are effective.
Validate the tooling and gauges are working properly (microscope, magnifier, etc).
Qualifications:
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, technical training, or equivalent experience.
Typically requires 2 years of related experience.

Job Description
To support the Quality Department's ability to achieve its goals. This includes accurately and timely auditing of company process, incoming material, work-in-process and customer shipments to achieve PAC Quality and Business objectives and to comply with AS 9100 standards. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Qualifications
Perform first article (FAIR) tasks including documentation and reports.
Perform 1st piece, in-process and last piece inspection using micrometers, calipers, comparators, various gauges and CMM equipment according to PAC standards and AS 9100 procedures.
Submit PPAP documents.
Perform incoming inspection tasks according to AS 9100 procedures.
Perform final inspection and shipping tasks according to AS 9100 procedures.
Perform process audits and follow-up with corrective actions.
Ensure the quality of all material meets customer specifications through applicable quality policies, procedures and instructions.

Continuous Improvement:
Proactively review equipment operation, identify deficiencies, and recommend improvements to increase Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and support Lean Manufacturing initiatives through leading and supporting key projects.
Technical Advisory:
Provide input on projects involving parts and material selection, documentation (OJT and SOP creation), testing, problem solving, maintenance requirements, project scope, and follow-up.
Machine Changeovers:
Provide technical support during machine change-overs for different package sizes and set up packaging lines to ensure smooth startups and increased production efficiency.
Root Cause Analysis:
Initiate and participate in Root Cause Analysis to address recurring issues and implement effective solutions.
Training & Compliance:
Provide training related to the maintenance and operation of mechanical and automated equipment, ensuring compliance with company standards, procedures, and government regulations (SOPs, GMPs, etc.).
Required skills, education, and experience:
Trade certification or degree in engineering, automation, or a related technical field strongly preferred.
10+ years of experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment, especially with highly automated pharmaceutical equipment preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude and advanced troubleshooting skills.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles.
Understanding of safety, compliance, and regulatory standards in pharmaceutical operations.
Effective communication and team collaboration skills.
