Production Technician Principle Responsibilities:
Builds products to specification
Follow the direction of Cell/Line Leader and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for each task
Follow the direction of Supervisor/Scheduler, Cell/Line Leaders for what is worked on and when
Use the appropriate tool or tools for each job
Consult the appropriate BOM and on-line print before proceeding with each task
Solder, strip and crimp wires, pot (apply waterproofing materials), calibrate, and assemble as directed
Use time wisely and move from task to task efficiently
Consult sufficient on-line and paper documentation to do accurate in-process inspections for self and others
Transitions from jobs within lines/cells and is able to perform duties in 2-3 lines/cells
Cooperates in the overall task of getting products shipped on time
Follows Instructions for participation in monthly inventory
Depending on the area assigned, it is expected that during inventory the employee will accurately count parts, correctly document quantity counted, and may also audit counts of others or help scanning product.
Maintains industry knowledge by attending educational workshops or classes; reviewing related publications; establishing networks.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed, including special projects and tasks as delegated supervisor.

The schedule options are:
1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

The Production Operator performs all tasks involved in the production of Select Custom Solutions products; ensuring safe and efficient production by following standard work methods and practices. Lifting requirements vary by position:
The Production Operator I frequently handles bags of product between 1-20 lbs. and occasionally handle bags of product between 21-50 lbs.
The Production Operator II frequently handles bags of product that are at least 25 kg. (55.115 lbs.).
Job Duties:
Read ingredients and count how many bags are on a pallet.
Place scoops in cans/jars/buckets and place lids on cans/jars/buckets.
Stack bags/cans of product as it comes off the various production lines.
Seal bags/cans of product as it comes off the various production lines.
Bag product as it comes off the various production lines.
Dump bags of product into appropriate equipment on the various production lines.

This role is a part of the Inspection/Solderer team here on the production floor.
The Role:
This position operates the Selective Solder Machine. A prerequisite to this position is being certified as an Inspector/Solderer. Inspection includes verifying circuit boards, solder joints, and correct component placement, as well as being able to identify any other possible defects that affects form, fit or function of an electronic assembly. Soldering solders joints and components onto the circuit board using soldering tools and microscope. The Selective Solder Operator operates the Selective Solder machine, and inspects and solders components on circuit boards after machine operation.
Qualifications
Responsibilities:
Read Manufacturing Instructions (MI) to determine specifications, inspection/soldering procedures according to IPC criteria
Operating the Selective Solder Machine
Inspect assemblies for defective solder joints or broken components
Inspect assemblies and determine if reject conditions are present
Record inspection data, such as pass/fail information into MIDEA system
Mark and send to rework, if defects are found
Escalate concerns to mentors or leader, initiate shutdown process if required
Perform basic touch-up soldering including, adding components and filling opens
Monitor inspection/solder equipment to maintain performance of equipment, and monitor AOI performance when applicable
Maintain clean workspace to eliminate the risk of cross contamination of Lead vs. Lead Free solder
Use computers and computer software for training, entering data, or process information
Use computers to navigate the Intranet to find information, including the Master List of Documents, Shutdown data, IPC manual and other company information.
Using MIDEA to enter pass/fail information.
Using learned criteria to determine whether product complies with the standard.
Keeping up-to-date technically and applying new knowledge to your job. Attend and pass refresher courses.
May rotate to various workstations as required

Follows all ISO regulations and requirements for testing, GMP inspecting, documenting

Ensure plant is within compliance by performing, Quarterly Deibel swabs, daily verification of swabs and plates, signing off on weekly Microbial swab paperwork
Perform performance audits on current and new products
Responsible for plant GMP audits and presenting findings at monthly quality meetings.

Requirements
Education and Experience:
Associate's degree in a technical field, or 1-2 years' experience in quality in lieu of degree
Familiarity with ISO and Food Safety standards preferred

Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to understand and follow Quality Control Specifications
