Northrop Grumman's Space Sector is seeking a Non Destructive (NDT) Test Technician - Level 3 or Level 4 to join our team in Magna, UT. In this job, you will: * This job primarily performs non-destructive testing (NDT) radiographic inspections (RT) on composite rocket motors. * Inspects composite materials, parts and assemblies for defects using automated and manual methods with radiographic techniques. * Requires certifications in RT Non-Destructive testing in accordance with regulations. * In house part and material inspections are periodically performed using ultrasonic (UT), liquid penetrant (PT), magnetic particle (MT), and eddy current (ET) inspection methods. * These inspections can be in different locations including confined space locations. * Other duties as assigned This position can be filled at either a Level 3 or Level 4. Basic Qualifications for Level 3: * High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional education and/or related experience. * No clearance required to start * 1+ years of documented hours as an NDT Level 2 inspector in at least two NDT methods; in order of preference: Radiography (RT), Ultrasound (UT), Eddy Current (ET), Dye Penetrant (PT), Magnetic Particle (MT). RECORDS REQUIRED * NAS410 qualified Level 2 classroom training/experience, or equivalent, in radiographic methodology, either in progress or completed. * Ability to perform moderate strenuous physical and repetitive work to include bending, stooping, kneeling, carrying tools, and lifting up to 50lbs. * Must be willing to work a rotating schedule between day and night shift. * Willing to occasionally work overtime and flexible/changing schedules including weekends as required to meet schedule demands.
