This department is responsible for cleaning and validating lenses. They inspect for cosmetic defects and ensure proper machine maintenance and handling of chemicals. There is a responsibility for the quality of the work performed and the team is expected to know the quality and safety requirements for every operation that they perform. We are looking for lab technicians for the manufacturing production of eye glasses and sun glasses. The following are primary tasks: * Ensure lenses are clean of dust and debris * Inspecting, sorting, washing, and prepping lenses for AR coating. * Setting up lenses into sectors, setting sectors into AR machine. * Machine maintenance, including sandblasting inside parts of the machine * Assist in routing work * Maintains workstation is clean and organized On the job training is provided!
