This position works under close supervision and is primarily responsible for performing all duties and tasks associated with one of the work cells listed below, as assigned by plant management, while adhering to quality standards according to GMP, sanitation and safety procedures. Knowledge of the SAP functions listed below must also be mastered.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. * Sets- up (assembles and disassembles), operates, adjusts and cleans equipment to produce color products and packages these finished goods according to quality, GMP, safety and sanitation standards. Operations may include blending, filling and packing procedures.
2. * Locates, prepares, transfers and loads materials to be processed; transfers WIP or finished product to filling operation, additional processing operations, storage or shipping area.
3. * Prepares packing materials (drums, pails, boxes) and packaging labels and stacks or stages containers for transfer.
4. Draws samples and takes to QC lab for testing per product specifications. Confers with lab technicians and supervisors and makes adjustments to the process to bring the product within specification.
5. Prints and applies labels to product.
6. Completes necessary paperwork or data entry for production/lab records and inventory levels.
7. Follows all GMP, safety, sanitation and quality specifications and procedures.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
1. Ability to read, write and speak English.
2. Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts to the production process including conversion of weight and volume in the metric system.
3. Ability to read and follow a recipe for mixing and/or blending product.
4. Ability to operate a forklift.
5. Ability to use basic hand tools (hammer, screwdriver, wrench) for assembly and disassembly of equipment.
6. Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers regarding the status of the production process.
7. These characteristics are normally acquired through a High School Diploma or GED with experience in a production environment preferred.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Working environment is a production unit and includes frequent exposures to wet, humid, dusty, or loud conditions, moving machine parts, fumes or airborne particles and caustic chemicals. A company issued uniform is required to be worn along with personal protective equipment at all times. This can include coveralls, dust mask, hearing protection, hair/beard net, safety glasses, gloves, and safety shoes. Work may occur in small rooms with air lock compliance to avoid interdepartmental contamination.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, talk, hear, lift and/or move materials or equipment up to 50 lbs, use hands to finger, handle objects, tools or controls and roll bags, scoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and use foot/feet to operate machinery. Specific vision abilities required by this job include vision, color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

The Role Utilizes metrology calibration systems and techniques to measure characteristics of objects based on applied principles of measurement science. Performs measurement surveys using Photogrammetry, Total Stations, Laser Trackers, CMM's or other electronic 3D instruments. **ABOUT THE ROLE**
Perform tasks associated with maintaining the operation of preheater tower, rotary kiln, coal mill, cooler, and auxiliary equipment such as bypass system, coal unloading system, conveyors, feeders, dust collectors, flow control devices, and other related equipment.
**WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH**
+ Performs process/cleanup duties in preheater tower and cooler areas, including opening furnace doors and removing process buildup inside high temperature furnace using air lances, jackhammers, and cardox.
+ Sweeping, shoveling, and air lancing for area cleanup.
+ Operates forklift, loaders, pickup truck, jackhammer, rock drill, guzzler truck, skid steer, and other industrial equipment
+ Performs tasks associated with maintaining mechanical systems throughout the plant.
+ Executes process area checklists and records accurate information and statistics associated with work performed. Assists with troubleshooting based on analysis of information collected.
+ Ensures product quality and quantity within assigned area. Ensures quality raw materials and fuels are supplied to process area.
+ Inspects assigned equipment each shift and assists with preventive maintenance and repairs.
+ Works rotating shift schedule and weekends as assigned.
+ Participates in formal and on-the-job training programs to acquire/broaden both technical and non-technical job skills.
+ Other duties as assigned.

As a Project Engineering Technician I for Bunnell-Lammons Engineering, Inc. (BLE), you will be working under the immediate supervision/direction of a registered professional engineer. You will work as a team member alongside site managers and engineers to perform the required inspection or sampling services. Our special Inspections technicians play a critical role in the quality assurance for every construction project no matter how large or small. Special Inspections Technicians actively collect concrete, soil, and other site materials for testing along with the continuous monitoring of general contractor activities, which may include but are not limited to onsite testing and reporting of earthwork and soil construction; foundation/subgrade evaluation; reinforcing steel; concrete placements; masonry as well as asphalt testing. Special Inspections Technicians are also responsible for accurately preparing daily reports for submission to the assigned project engineer. These reports not only include your test results summary, but detailed construction site observations as well.
Minimum Job Requirements
Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
High School Diploma or General Education (GED)
Valid Driver's License with Clean Motor Vehicle Driving history (3 years)
Ability to work outdoors on a construction site in all seasons and weather conditions for extended periods of time.
You must be self-motivated, able to efficiently work independently while completing scheduled tasks.
Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with team members, BLE leadership, clients, local, state, and federal authorities of all levels.
Must be detail oriented and work in a time conscious and time effective manner.
Basic knowledge in the operation of smartphones and computers for communication and record keeping (MS Office applications Word, Excel, and Outlook).
Ability to stand, walk, kneel, stoop, bend, lift (50 pound), tug and pull, on unstable, unpaved ground.
