The Quality Control Technician position exists to work with production and shipping department personnel to insure
the overall quality of raw materials, in process materials and finished goods. Under the general supervision of the
Quality Control Manager, this individual must be able to remain fully attentive of their work surroundings while
working at a steady pace.
They must be able to multitask and learn different work assignments. Individuals must
be able to adapt to various work assignments; must keep their work area clean and follow all safety and Good
Manufacturing guidelines. In addition, individuals must work well with others in a supportive team environment in
order to meet production, quality and quantity standards, while reducing waste and rework and minimizing
downtime.
Responsibilities:
Ensures raw materials, in process materials and finished goods meet quality specifications.
Performs daily evaluation checks on assigned production lines or work areas.
Conducts lab analysis of items produced.
Inspects incoming shipments of packaging materials, raw materials and truck trailers for package integrity,
infestation, appearance and odors.
Maintain accurate required documentation.
Perform inspection and disposition of customer returns.
Perform daily housekeeping duties in the work area and occasional housekeeping duties in the plant or
warehouse areas including sweeping, vacuuming and collecting trash.
Operate equipment in a safe manner and ensure the equipment is in good working order by checking and
reporting equipment problems.
Follow all safety and Good Manufacturing guidelines.
Required Qualifications:
Must be able to lift 6-7 pounds on a frequent basis and 40 pounds occasionally.
Must have the ability to read, write and perform simple math calculations.
Must be detailed oriented and have the ability to follow established procedures.
Must be able to communicate effectively and work well with others.
Must be able to work in a dusty environment with strong odors.
Must be able to work overtime on a frequent basis and on weekends as required by scheduling/production
demands.
Must be able to bend, stoop and climb stairs.

The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for sampling products, conducting laboratory testing, and analyzing data to ensure the product remains in specification.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Packaged product: ensure desired specifications for label adhesion and placement, correct crown color, date coding, fill heights, dissolved oxygen, carbon dioxide, pH, microbiological plating, can seam inspections, and chemical analysis via Anton Paar Analysis System.
· Sensory analysis: taste product to ensure product consistently matches the desired flavor profile. Assist in conducting group sensory analysis program.
· Wort analysis: ensure consistency between brews by microbiological plating, chemical analysis, international bitterness units, and color.
· Fermentation analysis: Take daily samples from fermenting and aging brews to test for temperature, pH and gravities. When applicable prepare samples and test them using Gas Chromatography.
· Temperatures & Gravities: Take daily fermentation and again samples from BH tanks, conduct
· Bright beer: ensure consistency between brews by tasting, microbiological plating, chemical analysis, international bitterness units, pH and color.
· Adhere precisely to QA procedures and specifications. Notify QA Manager of product non-conformance and place product on hold until disposition can be determined.
· Maintain sanitation and calibrate laboratory instrumentation.
· Collect samples properly for laboratory testing and retention.
· Enter data into Excel files and Vicinity software databases accurately.
· Utilize excellent multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.
· Perform additional duties as assigned by QA Manager.
· Comply with Employee Handbook policies and safety requirements.
· Correct safety hazards or notify Safety Manager when hazards or unsafe conditions are identified.
· Adhere to Brewery GMP practices and HACCP plan.

Phone Installation: Proficient in installing end-user phone devices across various campus settings, including desks, offices, furniture, and other designated locations.
Removal and/or installation of phones

Removal and/or rack installation of Avaya PBXs
Assist in documentation of existing PBX equipment using Netsync standard practices

Port Migration: Ability to perform port migration from old devices to newly installed switches.
Cisco Knowledge: Familiarity with Cisco platforms, including device operation and functionality.
Cable Management: Proficient in managing RJ45/11 cabling at end user locations ensuring all cables run to new phones have been neatly tidied up and out of the user's way.
Installation: Capable of drilling into drywall, concrete, brick, etc. to install phones on walls
Site Survey: Participate in site survey activities, document findings and assist consultants in post site survey quality control.
Cabling: Skilled in connecting new ethernet cables from UPS to newly installed switches and documenting switches and port numbers.
Height Comfort: Comfortable working on ladders daily to install devices 6-15 feet high.
Safety and Security: Ability to install devices safely and securely, adhering to Netsync installation documentation.
Communication: Courteous and professional mannerism when interacting with client representatives. Escalate to supervising Engineer
Accountability: Transport and properly dispose of deployment refuse after installation. Take personal ownership and accountability to meet deadlines and maintain punctuality
Cabling Infrastructure (Preferred but not required)
Cable Management: Proficient in cable management techniques.
Troubleshooting: Able to tone out cables, troubleshoot ports, and restore appropriate devices online.
Fiber Uplinks: Experience in troubleshooting fiber uplinks and testing/validating connectivity for newly installed devices.
Professional Direction: Ability to follow directions professionally and ensure devices are fully operational before leaving the site.
Tools for Efficiency
Installation Role: As this is an installation job, tools are required for conducting work on customer sites.
Essential Tools: Team members should have at a minimum, Phillips screwdrivers, snips, etc.
Optional Tools: While not required, cable testers/toners, butt-set testers, crimpers, and drills are a plus.
Minimum Qualifications/Technical and Educational Requirements
High school diploma, associate's degree, or bachelor's degree.
CCNA certification or any other Cisco certification are a plus.
