Summary
The Production Tech tends one or more machine tools, special purpose machines, or works to specifications on production basis for assembling an entire product or components of a product to produce the highest quality product for the end user.

Duties and Responsibilities
Lifts work piece manually onto pallets or workstation for assembly.
Perform quality checks on products and parts
Inspects and measures machined work pieces to verify conformance to specifications.
Count and assemble kits for other components.
Wrap and box components.
Cleans machined parts. i.e. drill table, drill press.
Tends machines and equipment other than machine tools.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Continuously monitor network and space segment performance to provide customer tier 1 support as required
Monitor and report on the quality of user Full Motion Video (FMV)
Support and escalate user network issues to appropriate offices
Track and manage automated service interruptions for the network users' awareness, ensuring minimal downtime
Resolve customer issues related to broadband IP communication via satellite transmission; support complex systems installations and startup at customer sites, including configuring satellite modems and routers
Monitor ViaSat equipment configurations and network performance in real time, and report conditions and anomalies to the designated team lead using satellite network monitoring software
Monitor FMV downlink equipment for nominal operations and report any anomalies to the designated team lead
Support user access and troubleshoot ViaSat KuSS and KaSS remotes, including configuring and maintaining satellite terminals and associated RF equipment
Prepare detailed reports on satellite network utilization, performance, and activity as required, using data analytics tools to interpret satellite network metrics
Open and track trouble tickets as required to resolve network or terminal issues
Isolate and correct network faults using network management tools (ViaSat SAM/NMS), including diagnosing issues with satellite links, transponders, and ground station equipment
Manage service restoration activities and track/update the trouble ticketing system (Remedy)
Provide status reports to customers and management personnel, detailing satellite network performance and any ongoing issues
Provide testing and implementation support of new software releases for deployed network equipment
Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve product-related issues resulting from installation, software and hardware upgrades, configuration changes, equipment integration, or testing
Maintain timely and accurate helpdesk records using the ticket management system
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Active DoD Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility
2+ years of SATCOM-related experience
Experience with TCP/IP, networking concepts, and SATCOM/RF concepts, including knowledge of satellite link budgets, modulation schemes, and frequency planning
Knowledge of satellite network troubleshooting and support principles, including diagnosing issues with satellite modems, transponders, and ground station equipment
Familiarity with satellite communication facilities, platforms, operating systems, applications, security methods, and satellite network management tools
Understanding of satellite network design, installation, management, and support technologies, including experience with satellite earth stations and VSAT systems
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to explain satellite communication concepts to non-technical users

ROLE SUMMARY:
The Manufacturing Technician II supports, measures, and guides daily and weekly manufacturing operations through the conversion of raw materials into finished products at a medical cannabis facility. The Manufacturing Tech II ensures the production schedule and facility compliance in their assigned manufacturing area. Activities may span the entire manufacturing cycle of cannabis products, from botanical preparation to final product packaging. The ideal candidate will excel as a team leader with expertise in food/pharmaceutical manufacturing and solid attention to detail. The role demands heavy amounts of documentation, supervising personnel, and time management. Duties are completed individually and in small teams, under the indirect supervision of Manufacturing Tech IIIs and Supervisors. The position is structured around a required training program and expected function.

Use jigs, fixtures, soldering irons and other hand and power tools. Operates departmental machines and equipment as required. Perform the functions to operate the Surface Mount Device (SMD) equipment and wave solder machine.
Enters parameters and operates the computers at the SMD machine and the I.R. reflow and wave solder machines. Sets-up and performs spraying or dipping operations for environmental protection of PCBs and assemblies.
Perform paint touch-ups using tools such as Q-tips but excluding spray painting and mixing of paints.
Perform all minor set-ups/adjustments on drill presses, arbor presses, wire cutting machines (Eubanks, Artos) wire strippers, twisters, jigs, fixtures, and component-cutting machines, tapping machines and other similar equipment.
Receive and dispense to the lines, material, subassemblies and/or assemblies.
Maintain storage lines to assure flow of material.
Handle shortage release forms. Move material as directed.
Verify workmanship and product quality standards as they relate to specific assembly operations.
Collect data, prepare/maintain records, using either written or electronic media, as required and/or directed by supervisor.
Will be involved in storing, handling, use and disposal of hazardous waste chemicals such as acids, caustics, flammables, poisons, and oxidizers in accordance with federal, state and local environmental protections laws.
You will be retrained annually to comply with applicable state and federal regulations. This is in accordance with the codes of Federal Regulations Title #40, Section 265.16.

Key Responsibilities
+ Perform nondestructive testing on materials and components using various techniques such as ultrasonic testing, magnetic particle testing, liquid penetrant testing, and visual inspection
+ Interpret and analyze test results to identify defects, abnormalities, or other indications of potential issues
+ Ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications during the testing process
+ Maintain accurate and detailed records of test results, including documentation of any defects or abnormalities found
+ Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to provide recommendations for corrective actions or further testing as needed
+ Stay updated with advancements in nondestructive testing methods and equipment, and provide recommendations for improvement
YOU MUST HAVE
+ Minimum 2 years of experience in non-destructive testing.
+ Certification in at least one NDT method (e.g., UT, RT, MT, PT).

You Will

Troubleshoot equipment & perform routine preventative maintenance
Assure Plastipak customer requirements are met by performing quality checks for specifications, such as bottle weights & dimensions

You Have
Ability to work Nights 6:45 om - 7:15 am on a cycle of 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off, repeat. This equates to 2 weekends per month off with a 3-day weekend
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
A minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Manufacturing Production Technician working with equipment used for high-volume production
Working knowledge of injection equipment is preferred
Hydraulics, pneumatics & electrical mechanical basic knowledge
Ability to troubleshoot & problem solve
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodatio
