The Electromechanical Technician will troubleshoot and repair primarily microprocessor-based controls used in LED message signs and light towers. This role involves working closely with customers to identify the cause of failures and provide effective repair solutions. This position requires a solid foundation in technical skills and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service. Occasional travel of up to 25% may be required.
Key Responsibilities:
Review work requests, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications to plan repair activities.
Test controls and components to identify issues and determine repair requirements.
Diagnose and repair faulty electronic components, including resistors, capacitors, ICs, and other circuit elements.
Use voltmeters, ammeters, and oscilloscopes to probe circuits and locate failures.
Repair printed circuit boards (PCBs) by replacing through-hole and surface-mount components, or by restoring damaged traces.
Perform wiring, stripping, soldering, and crimping as needed.
Maintain accurate documentation of all repairs, updates, and modifications to drawings or schematics.
Communicate directly with customers to help identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
Provide technical support and occasional field service assistance.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in a technical role involving electronic circuit repair.
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex electronic equipment.
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics and wiring diagrams.
Experienced with test equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Advanced knowledge of analog and digital circuits.
Hands-on experience with PCB rework and component replacement (through-hole and surface mount).
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
Fluent in English (verbal and written).
Proficient with computers, experience with Microsoft Word and Excel is a plus.
Associate (AA) or Bachelor's (BA) degree in a related field is preferred.
Quality control (QC) experience is a plus.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operate, maintain troubleshoot and repair high speed manufacturing equipment
Responsible for prioritization of operation and maintenance on multiple pieces of manufacturing equipment
Perform quality checks and recording them in our automated quality control systems
Interpret data to make quality and productivity decisions, we're a data driven company
Perform routine and emergency maintenance on process equipment
Maintain our work area in accordance with all sanitation and housekeeping standards, safety is our first priority
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or GED
1-3 years of industrial experience, preferably in a high-speed manufacturing or packaging environment
Proficient in mechanical troubleshooting
Able and willing to work a rotating 12-hour and other alternate work schedule, including day and night shift rotations, and required weekend and holiday hours
Able and willing to work mandatory overtime as required

Prepare materials, hubs, and components for wheel building.
Support wrapping, handling, and staging of wheels during the build process.
Perform basic measurements using tools such as calipers and gauges (training provided).
Assist with operating production equipment safely and efficiently (training provided).
Conduct visual and basic quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area following 5S and safety standards.

Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities
Design, install, and troubleshoot electrical systems for haunted attractions, escape rooms, and immersive sets.
Program and maintain DMX lighting systems to create dynamic, atmospheric effects.
Build and configure PLC systems for automated scare sequences and interactive elements.
Assemble and repair pneumatic systems for animatronics and motion-based props.
Wire and test fright prop controllers to ensure seamless scares and guest interactions.
Collaborate with designers, fabricators, and creative teams to execute technical visions.
Travel to off-site locations to install, troubleshoot, or repair tech elements during events.
Maintain strict safety standards for all electrical and mechanical systems.

Must commute to the shop and travel to event locations as needed.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Proven experience in wiring, electrical work, or related technical fields.
Familiarity with DMX programming tools (e.g., Light-O-Rama, QLab) and PLC software.
Familiarity with pneumatics, fright ideas controllers, and escape room tech (training provided for niche systems).
Familiarity with addressable LED technology and xLights software.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work on ladders, and navigate tight/haunted-house-ready spaces.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and extended hours during peak seasons (August-November).
Strong problem-solving skills and a “make it work” attitude under pressure.

Job Description
Responsibilities:
Formulates Powder media formulas per manufacturing protocols utilizing various weighing equipment such as scales and balance.
Uses Mettler-Toledo IND780 terminal system in conjunction with the SAP ERP system to ensure correct raw materials assigned in the batch record are weighed at the specified quantity.
Suggest changes in departmental procedures and processes (SOPs) as needed.
Performs and documents line clearance at the start of each formulation event.
Maintains all required logs and associated documentation.
Assures that all chemicals are stored and labeled properly.
Performs process scale checks on all required equipment including scales and balances.
Keeps work area, utensils, tanks, mills, and equipment clean and organized.
Ensures that supplies needed such as weigh boats, gloves, lab coats, etc. are well stocked in their designated areas. Orders supplies or informs Lead/Supervisor if supplies need to be ordered.
Follows all safety procedures and works in a safe manner including wearing all required personal protective equipment.
Understands and follows procedures to ensure that chemicals are handled properly.
Good understanding of metric system and its conversions.
Follows and actively participates in sustaining the 6S program in the area.
Other duties as requested by Lead or Supervisor.
Required Skills/Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Background in medical devices, diagnostics, food/vitamin processing, or pharmaceuticals.
1-2 years of hands on experience
General education about chemicals and proper handling (college level science preferred).
Working knowledge of metric system.
Good understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).
Ability to speak, read, and write English.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Salary and Benefits:
For California, the base salary range for this position is $19.65 - $25.51 per hour. Compensation for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience, location, etc.).

Operate, changeover, clean, troubleshoot, and complete basic maintenance according to company standards on production equipment consisting of fillers, labelers, case packers, palletizers, blow mold machines, wrappers, and forklifts
Record the following: preventative maintenance activities, quality inspection data, equipment downtime, production output and other key metrics
Adhere to safe work practices, good manufacturing practices, and participate in safe behavior observation programs
Communicate effectively when issues arise that prevent operating to company standards/procedures

Measure and continuously improve the line operation as a team and with other technicians
Cross-train in other areas to support operations during downtimes

Qualifications
