Boeing Commercial Airplanes is hiring Associate, Mid-Level, and Senior Manufacturing Engineers to support operations in Everett, WA. Positions will support one of the following areas: 777/777X programs, Interior Responsibility Center, Propulsions, or Electrical Systems Responsibility Center. Primary Responsibilities:
Integrate across engineering disciplines to drive producibility requirements into the design of aircraft electrical and mechanical systems using Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) principles.
Participate as a member of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) to develop, identify, and implement conceptual designs and maintain the program architecture for build.
Implement technical solutions into the build plan to ensure production safety, stability, and product reliability; lead the complex integration of systems into a repeatable, efficient installation process.
Analyze and improve design/build concepts and collect and analyze production data to identify anomalies and investigate root causes when first-pass quality or production efficiency fall outside standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems arising during production to preserve product integrity and minimize impacts to performance, cost, or schedule.
Drive innovative tooling and equipment requirements to enable earlier, more ergonomic, and more efficient installation and testing of electrical components.
Apply technical knowledge to design and develop manufacturing and assembly processes, tooling, fixtures, and procedures; assist in the development and implementation of production and tooling methodologies.
Assist in implementing manufacturing plans, new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies, and concepts across teams, including electrical systems design, equipment installation, and functional test.
Develop and implement process improvements using Lean production methodologies and assist in the implementation of Lean principles and technologies.
Regularly engage with mechanics, electricians, suppliers, IPTs, and internal customers to identify and implement opportunities to improve the efficiency and reliability of the aircraft build plan and to develop products, skills, and knowledge.
Coordinate with production and design engineers across commodities to ensure integration of electrical systems with all other interfacing airplane components (structures, interiors, etc.).
This is a Production Engineering role requiring direct interface with people, parts, and equipment on the production floor. A typical day may include:
Spending extended periods on your feet (up to 8 hours), standing and walking on the production floor.
Climbing ladders or stairs to access equipment or airplane sections.
Working at heights or in confined/tight spaces.
Wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
2 or more years of experience working in an engineering discipline

What You Will Be Doing:

You will build hardware that powers Helion's prototype and production fusion machines. We are looking for a Senior Manufacturing Production Technician. As a Production Technician, you'll be part of a cross-functional team whose mission is to lead IonQ on its journey to build the world's best quantum computers to solve the world's most complex problems.
The Production Technician is responsible for the assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of opto/mechanical and custom electronic assemblies according to established procedures. This includes installing electronic assemblies into 19” racks and integrating wire harnesses and cables.
In addition, the manufacturingtechnician will engage in fiber optics curing on optical fiber cables, participate in 5S and continuous improvement initiatives, and initiate nonconformance records for production issues. The role may also involve supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) engineering tasks and performing select optical alignments to meet production deadlines.
This position requires a highly motivated manufacturing electronics technician with experience in assembly and test. Knowledge of free space optical assembly including high precision devices, alignment of assemblies, and manufacturing best practices are additional skills that successful candidates will have.
Responsibilities:
Support the daily production build schedule requirements in manufacturing
Work closely with Manufacturing and Product Engineers to follow detailed work instructions to assemble Quantum Computer components with a safety and quality mindset and a high-level attention to detail.
Assist with the build and test of components for Quantum Computers.
Capture and document assembly best practices, present findings to technical teams.

The primary function of the BAG (Bulk Atmospheric Gases) Production tech position is to ensure safe and reliable operation of the Fife Air Separation Plant. Utilizing plant operations knowledge, the BAG Production tech works in a team environment where individuals are empowered to set priorities and complete different activities with minimal supervision.
Primary Responsibilities:
Successful candidates must be able to understand principles of the Hazardous Work Permit and Lock Out Tag Out as well as compliance with all Government and Linde Environmental Permits, Regulations and Policies.
This is a full-time position in Fife, Washington. This is a 10-hour Shift position M-Th or Tues-Fri, with an on-call rotation starting approximately 8 months after hiring.

* Monitor and communicate contractor activities in all areas covered above when required
* Complete all LMS training modules and OJT for an assigned job per the assigned time line

Technician Electromechanical (Aviation)
Status: Non-Exempt
Department: Electromechanical Shop (1131)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5:55AM-2:30PM (40 hours/week), subject to overtime
SUMMARY:
This position is primarily responsible for the repair/overhaul of pneumatic/electrical operated aircraft components. The position cross-trains in other departments. The position requires the ability to read/write/understand the English language, following directions, and work in various teamwork settings.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Test, disassemble, inspect, repair and reassemble aircraft components.
Work overtime and holidays on a short notice.
Follow customer s special instructions and requirements.
Follow all company procedures and policies.
Follow all safety and security policies and regulations.
Back up department functions, cross-train in other departments and performs other duties as necessary.
Report to work on a regular and consistent basis.
REQUIRED ABILITY TO:
Read and understand component maintenance/overhaul manuals.
Read and understand drawings, wiring schematics and flow diagrams.
Be a reliable self-starter.
Demonstrate the use of common hand tools.
Demonstrate the use of torque wrenches, micrometers, dial calipers and multi-meters.
Stand and work for long periods of time.
Lift, move, push and pull up to fifty (50) lbs. on a consistent basis.
Demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills in English.
Build alliances, partnerships and collaborate with co-workers in a tactful, professional and respectful manner. Be a team player with strong interpersonal skills.
Resolve workplace differences and conflict to achieve goals and objectives in a professional manner.
Foster an atmosphere of new ideas, input and creative solutions when faced with challenges.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High School degree or equivalent.
Valid driver s license and good driving record.
This position requires drug testing and criminal background check in accordance with FAA regulations.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
6 months + of mechanical experience.
DESIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Airframe or Airframe and Powerplant license.
1 year + of experience of electro-mechanical experience.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Continuous work in manufacturing/production setting.
Continuous walking and standing, and lifting, pushing and pulling heavy objects throughout the work day.
Flexibility to work additional hours and occasional weekends.
