We are seeking a detail-oriented ManufacturingTechnician to join our aerospace production team. In this role, you'll perform hands-on fabrication and structural assembly work, ensuring every part meets strict aerospace standards. You'll interpret blueprints, use precision tools, and help keep production running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
Perform mechanical fabrication using hand tools and precision inspection equipment.
Work within one or more disciplines: Deburr, Shear, Polish, Saw, Rout.
Receive cross-training in Assembly, Brake Forming, Heat Treat, Hot/Press Forming, and more.
Follow detailed work instructions, process sheets, and blueprints accurately.
Handle delicate aerospace components with care and precision.
Conduct basic visual and dimensional inspections on all parts.
Accurately complete documentation (routers, inspection logs, process reports).
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
Collaborate with team members to identify issues and improve manufacturability.
Qualifications
Education
High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience
0-2 years of related assembly or manufacturing experience.
Sheet metal or aerospace fabrication experience preferred.
Familiarity with AS9100 quality standards.
Exposure to Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles a plus.
Mechanical aptitude from aerospace, automotive, or motorsports environments.
Forklift or material-handling experience preferred (certification required).

About This Role:
As our Quality Control Technician focused on switchboard testing, you will be instrumental in guaranteeing the quality and operational readiness of the electrical distribution systems that power our cutting-edge AI infrastructure. Your understanding of electrical testing principles, safety regulations, and switchgear functionality will be essential in identifying and mitigating potential issues before deployment. What You'll Be Working On:
* Switchboard Testing and Inspection: Execute comprehensive testing procedures for switchboard assemblies, including but not limited to visual inspections, electrical continuity tests, insulation resistance tests, functional tests, and operational checks.
* Test Procedure Execution: Follow detailed test procedures and checklists to ensure consistent and thorough evaluation of switchgear performance against engineering specifications and industry standards.
* Electrical Testing and Verification: Execute electrical testing procedures, including continuity testing, insulation resistance testing, functional testing, and other relevant electrical tests to ensure switchboard meets performance specifications and safety requirements, energized functionality testing.
* Test Equipment Management: Ensure that all electrical testing equipment is properly calibrated, maintained, and operated according to safety guidelines.
* Test Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Proficiently operate various electrical testing equipment (e.g., multimeters, megohmmeters, Hi-Pot testers) and ensure proper calibration and maintenance of this equipment.
* Data Acquisition and Reporting: Accurately record and document test data, identifying trends, discrepancies, and potential failure points. Generate clear and concise test reports summarizing findings.
* Non-Conformance Reporting: Document any test failures or non-conformances, and collaborate with engineering and production teams to support root cause analysis and the implementation of effective corrective and preventive actions.
* Quality Standards and Compliance: Ensure all testing activities adhere to relevant industry standards, safety regulations (e.g., NEC, NFPA 70E, UL 891, IEEE, ANSI), and internal quality management system requirements.

Essential Job Functions:

Perform analysis on raw materials, finished batches, treated water and/or any other programmed outlines by the department.
Conduct chemical and physical analysis on raw and intermediate processing materials including packaging materials and determine status of materials as acceptable or unacceptable.
Evaluate finished products against current standards by performing audits to monitor all aspects of finished product and packaging integrity.
Check process control parameters to assure proper equipment application and operation is being maintained by performing secure seal, closure torque, can seam checks, and/or any other requirements required by the customer or the company.
Stop any production which may be questionable in terms of Food Safety and immediately alert a member of the management team.
Maintain accurate, legible records of all tests and retests performed. Complete all other required reports (work orders, action reports, etc.) in a timely manner.
Perform analytical tests required to qualify ingredient batches for production.
Perform production line checks at specified intervals.
Ensure accurate test results by maintaining proper operation and calibration of laboratory equipment.
Maintain laboratory cleanliness at all times.
Report all out of specification results to designated leadership.
Complete special projects and other reasonable duties as assigned by leadership.
Required Skills:
Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and SAP preferred.
Exposure to using measurement tools and equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM machines) preferred.

Overview:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
Must be able to read inspection equipment. IE. Micrometers, calipers, tape measures and other related gauges.

Minimum of one (2) year of experience on CAD/CAM systems and PC applications
