TITLE: Operations Technician- Tenaha This role is responsible for the day-to-day operations and maintenance of natural gas pipeline systems to include gathering/residue pipelines, operating compression, dehydration, control systems, electrical generation, and some plant facilities. Presents a positive and professional image to customers, vendors, employees, and the public. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Assumes the responsibility of operating pipelines and associated equipment such as dehydrators, treating equipment, fluid separating equipment, valves, gas/liquid measurement equipment, pumps, etc. Operating the equipment and system may include, but is not limited to: · Pigging and/or directing activities to pig pipelines used for natural gas, condensate and produced water gathering. · Start-up/shutdown of equipment. · Adjusting controls to bring equipment into recommended or prescribed operating ranges. · Visually inspecting equipment and controls at periodic intervals to detect malfunctions or need for repair, adjustment, or lubrication. · De-pressuring equipment and pipelines. · Purging/pressurizing equipment and pipelines. · Performing pipeline patrols. · Performing gas leakage surveys. · Locating and marking underground pipelines and monitor construction activity along the ROW. · Operating valves. 2. Implements safe work practices and a proactive safety culture while ensuring safety for the employee, the public, and the environment at all times. 3.
