Job Description
We're Hiring: Level 4 Residential HVAC Service Technician - Lead the Standard
Location: Collegeville, PA (Field-Based Role) | Pay Range: $40-$46/hour | Full-Time
At Alpha 1 Heating & Cooling, we're not building a fleet of service trucks. We're building a name that stands for skill, grit, and trust. Our growth isn't luck - it's the byproduct of technicians who show up sharp, solve real problems, and lead every call with pride.
If you're the kind of technician who sets the pace - not the kind who drags it down - you're who we're after.
Position Summary:
We're hiring a Level 4 Residential HVAC Service Technician - a proven leader in the field who knows how to troubleshoot, fix, communicate, and coach without waiting for permission.
This isn't a clipboard-and-clipboard kind of leadership. This is hands-on, solve-it-under-fire, teach-while-you-run leadership. You'll own the toughest calls, represent Alpha 1 at the highest level, and set the tone for every tech coming up behind you.
What You'll Do:
Handle top-priority service calls independently - no handholding
Lead complex diagnostics and make smart, field-driven decisions
Communicate directly and professionally with customers, no matter how rough the situation
Mentor and guide junior and mid-level techs - by action, not talk
Maintain the highest standards in workmanship, truck readiness, and customer trust
Be the example, not the exception
What You'll Bring:
7+ years of direct residential HVAC service experience
Master-level ability to troubleshoot, repair, and communicate
The head to lead, the hands to do the work, and the gut to own the outcome
Absolute reliability - in your work, your schedule, and your standards
A mindset built for leadership under pressure, not excuses under pressure
Pay & Benefits:
$40-$46/hour based on skill, field leadership, and execution
Health Insurance + Retirement Plan
Paid Holidays + PTO
Premium opportunity for field leadership, mentoring, and project responsibility
A team that backs you if you deliver - and doesn't babysit if you don't
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
Expect rooftops, attics, crawlspaces, and tough calls - all year long. You'll lift 50+ lbs, move fast, and solve problems in heat, cold, and cramped quarters. Leadership here isn't behind a desk - it's at the sharp end of the work.
If You're Going to Lead - Lead From the Front
If you're ready to run the call, solve the problem, teach the trade, and raise the standard - apply now.
If you're looking for a title without the weight that comes with it - you'll last about a week.
Alpha 1 Heating & Cooling is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We hire based on performance, leadership, and work ethic - not background. Show up, step up, and you'll have a home here.

We're Hiring: Level 4 Commercial HVAC Technician - Own the System, Own the Outcome
Location: Norristown, PA (Field-Based Role) | Pay Range: $39-$45/hour | Full-Time
At Commercial Kitchen Ventilation, we don't chase easy installs or hide from hard calls. We're the team that gets called when things are broken, dirty, critical, and complicated - and we fix it right, the first time.
We're growing because we solve problems that others can't - and because we only add players who raise the standard, not lower it.
Position Summary:
We're hiring a Level 4 Commercial HVAC Technician - a top-level field leader who can diagnose, fix, and drive outcomes without being told twice. You'll lead high-priority service work across hoods, duct systems, rooftop ventilation, and control systems, while mentoring techs in the field and enforcing the standard from rooftop to ground.

Growth-track leadership opportunities as the company expands
Small-team culture where your work is seen, respected, and expected to be top tier
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
This is a 100% hands-on field role. Expect multi-story rooftops (including steep pitches), attic crawlspaces, mechanical rooms, and outdoor service in heat, cold, rain, and wind. You'll lift 50+ lbs regularly, climb ladders and scaffolding, and operate lifts and booms safely.
If You're Going to Lead, Lead From the Front
This isn't management behind a desk. This is leadership with your boots on the roof, your tools in your hands, and the job on your back. Apply now if you're ready to own it.
If you're looking for a title without the work - you won't last here.

Auto-ApplyResidential HVAC Technician
Norristown, PA jobs
Job Description
We're Hiring: Residential HVAC Service Technicians (Entry-Level to Lead Tech) - Bring the Heat
Location: Collegeville, PA (Field-Based Role) | Pay Range: $18-$46/hour | Full-Time
At Alpha 1 Heating & Cooling, we're not in the business of babysitting broken systems or coddling underperformers. We show up when it's hot, cold, tight, dirty, or inconvenient - because that's when our customers need us most.
We're a small, aggressive crew that runs lean, works smart, and grows fast. We don't have room for coasters, complainers, or clock-punchers. We hire people who want to win - not just get by.
Position Summary:
We're hiring Residential HVAC Service Technicians across all levels - from green-as-the-grass rookies to seasoned field generals who know how to run a call with precision and lead a team by example.
Whether you're here to learn the trade or you've been in it for a decade, this is where you'll prove what you're made of. You'll work in crawlspaces, attics, and tight basements. You'll troubleshoot, sweat, climb, and carry. And if you've got the right mindset, you'll move up fast.
Where You Fit In:
Entry-Level ($18-$22/hr):
You've got no experience, but you're hungry to learn and not afraid to sweat. You'll ride with senior techs, get your hands dirty, and earn your stripes the right way.
Level 1 ($23-$27/hr):
You've been in the field 1-2 years. You know your way around a service call and you're ready to be trusted with real responsibility - not just cleanups and van inventory.
Level 2 ($28-$33/hr):
You've got 2-4 years in the game. You can troubleshoot, communicate clearly with homeowners, and handle calls from start to finish. We'll expect results - not excuses.
Level 3 ($34-$39/hr):
You've been doing this for 4-6 years and it shows. You run clean calls, think on your feet, and hold yourself to a higher standard. You lead in the field, whether there's a title on your shirt or not.
Level 4 ($40-$46/hr):
You've got 7+ years of field experience and the leadership chops to prove it. You're the one people call when things go sideways. You lead, teach, and carry the weight like it's second nature.
What You'll Do:
Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems (furnaces, heat pumps, ACs, ductless, etc.)
Run service calls with precision, professionalism, and urgency
Communicate clearly and respectfully with homeowners
Prep, stock, and maintain your truck like it's your shop on wheels
Stay ready - attics, crawlspaces, bad weather, long days - we go where the work is
Represent Alpha 1 like it's your name on the side of the van
What You'll Bring:
A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
A high school diploma or equivalent
Physical toughness and mental sharpness - you'll need both
Respect for your tools, your team, and the customer
The drive to get better, not just get through the day
Relevant experience depending on level - but attitude is non-negotiable
Pay & Benefits:
$18-$46/hour, based on experience, execution, and level
Health Insurance + Retirement Plan
Paid Holidays + PTO
Fast-track advancement - no waiting, just earning
A crew that works hard, holds the line, and has your back
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
This isn't a desk job. You'll work in 120-degree attics and freezing crawlspaces. You'll lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, squeeze into tight spaces, and keep moving. It's real work - and we don't sugarcoat it.
This Is Where Techs Are Made
If you want to grow, lead, and be part of a team that respects the work and demands the best - apply now.
If you're looking for easy days, light lifting, or someone to carry you - keep moving.
Alpha 1 Heating & Cooling is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We hire on attitude, execution, and effort. If you've got it, you're welcome here.
