MAPEI is seeking a detail-driven DOT Product Compliance Specialist to support our Cementitious & Resinous Systems (CRS), Admixtures, and UTT product lines. In this role, you will help ensure MAPEI products maintain compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements across multiple states and agencies. You'll work closely with Technical Services, Product Line Management, R&D, and Sales to maintain MAPEI's standing as a trusted, approved manufacturer. Key Responsibilities Maintain and update the DOT Approved Product Lists (APL) database for MAPEI CRS, Admixtures, and UTT products. Conduct monthly audits of state DOT websites to ensure the accuracy of MAPEI's internal product database. Manage follow-up correspondence for submitted and pending products, ensuring timely responses and documentation. Prepare and submit MAPEI products to individual DOT agencies for qualification and requalification as required. Monitor competitor products on DOT databases and identify equivalent MAPEI offerings. Assist the Technical Manager - CRS with budgeting and coordination of external testing needs. Maintain an organized database of internal and external test reports, ensuring current certification and compliance status. Track and manage annual recertifications and retesting schedules to maintain ongoing approvals. Support local agency submittals and approvals in collaboration with regional sales and technical teams. Provide monthly reports of DOT-related activities to the Technical Manager - CRS. Communicate updates and approvals to the MAPEI Sales Force by territory. Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Line Management, CRS Sales, Admixture Sales, Technical Services, Major Projects, and R&D to ensure alignment on specifications. Assist the CRS Technical Services group with training initiatives, site visits, and technical support for major projects. Develop and issue technical recommendations, bulletins, and letters as needed. Contribute to writing proprietary specifications and reviewing technical data sheets or packaging changes. Travel to jobsites, seminars, and facilities on an as-needed basis. Adhere to all MAPEI policies, safety rules, and work procedures. Perform other related duties as assigned.
