1946

Charlie wanted to expand the business, and in 1946, his dream came true.

1969

On January 1, 1969, Charlie purchased Maple Donuts from his father and the business became incorporated.

2002

In September 2002, Maple Donuts Inc. acquired the assets of a competitor in Lake City, Pennsylvania.

2007

Burnside put up similar billboards - with "again" added to them - in 2007 after Simpson was arrested on charges that he orchestrated the armed robbery of a sports memorabilia dealer.

2015

For example, the company made doughnuts that looked like baseballs to celebrate the Red Land Little League team in 2015.

2016

During the 2016 presidential campaign, Burnside was honored - and given an autographed hat - by Republican politicians Scott Wagner, Lou Barletta and Scott Perry for his support of Trump.
