The Air Separation Plant Manager has overall responsibility for employee's and Production of cryogenic materials and pipeline gases at the site. These duties include Quality control, personnel and training issues, environmental compliance, equipment maintenance and accounting of plant costs. Control plans outline the job processes and frequency that features are to be checked. Features are checked at the machine as well as in the quality lab. • Operators are to be expected to run production with quality in mind. • Process sheets are provided for all jobs. These simplify job at hand, so operators are not struggling to find features on a print. • Operators are expected to read and understand Micrometers, Calipers, and dial gages, Depth Micrometers and height gages. • Operators, once trained, are to be able to tear down and set up Machines for different jobs when needed within timely manner. • Operators are trained daily maintenance. Coolant levels and concentrations, chip hoppers, grease and chuck maintenance. • Operators once trained are expected to maintain tools and tool life.
