Coordinating mapping projects. Create legal descriptions, survey plats, job estimates and field calculations. Excellent understanding of all surveying technology. Essential Functions and Requirements: 5+ years of inside survey tech experience Perform calculations required for stakeout, boundary, or topographic surveys. Interpret notes, sketches and records of data obtained. Understand all technology, including GPS, Robotic total stations, and conventional survey methods. Coordinate with field and office personnel and provide office support for field staff. Proficient use of AutoCAD, Civil3D and other surveying software. Verify the accuracy, thoroughness and reasonability of data and calculations. Recognize inconsistencies and alert manager in a timely manner. On occasion travel to job sites - follow all safety standards and policies. Wear protective equipment as directed. Key Responsibilities Assist with and perform construction layout, as-built surveys, and topographic data collection. Operate Trimble S7 Total Stations, TSC7 Controllers with Trimble Access, and Topcon GPS with Pocket 3D under guidance.
