Essential Duties & Responsibilities: All of these duties below are generally supervised and managed closely by a higher-level Superintendent/President and/or works on a smaller sized job as the Superintendent Tier II gains experience. This position frequently requires “hands-on” work, meaning while having the additional responsibilities of the below items, they are also working as a Carpenter. Supervising and coordinating subcontractors and daily project scope. Responsible for on-the-job training, overseeing and supervision of employees. Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations. Preparing and implementing requirements and scheduling to meet all inspection and permit specifications. Managing project cost and schedule, including but not limited to: Assisting and preparing cost and schedule analysis. Ensuring estimating costs are obtained in field and production. Responsible for considering, evaluating and compiling job change orders and the impact to cost, schedule, and scope of work. Responsible for researching and compiling requests for information of design, schedule, cost, material inquiries, unforeseen conditions, purchasing and providing analysis for materials needed. Determination of manpower requirements on a daily basis for our client's employees including schedule and hours worked. Reviewing, enforcing, and ensuring all parties abide by contract documents. Analyzing and documenting daily progress and communicating pertinent information to owners/clients/project managers.
