Our Temporary Warehouse Drivers with Maricopa County Elections assist with election activities by preparing and transporting equipment, making deliveries, and assembling election material and voter center supplies. This position involves supporting warehouse functions and driving in phases to ensure timely deliveries.

Prepares Election supplies in a warehouse environment
Drives a 26-ft box truck with air brakes to deliver and pick up Election materials and transports equipment and items to and from Polling Locations and Vote Centers
Supports other warehouse functions such as checking equipment in and out, lifting and stacking inventory, and general warehouse maintenance
Replenishes labels, pallet stacks, loads/unloads trailers and trucks, and moves stowed products to various locations
Works in teams of two with a partner from a different political party
Fulfills and organizes orders to ensure vote centers have adequate equipment and ensure the delivery process is efficient and accurate
Assists other divisions of Elections with their daily functions and activities, along with other job duties as assigned
Follows a checklist to ensure that the setup of the Vote Center is done accurately and completely
Verifies that the room and area allocated for equipment are available to use and checks that the correct equipment was delivered before setup
Collaborates with Poll Workers and T-Techs to deliver equipment to set up Vote Centers and Polling Locations before opening for Election activities
Working Conditions

* Performs detailed background checks using complex databases including: DCS searches, Public Access, Spillman, and any other information that may be relevant to a particular case at the request of the Court.
* Monitors and takes appropriate action with all in-coming mail to FSCC, including postal mail, faxed communication, and emails; assures that the facility and equipment are maintained, submits work orders as necessary; may provide back up to other administrative staff.

Assist the Director of Elections with the overall planning, organizing, staffing, logistics, and operational activities of the Elections Department. Trades Helper positions are located in several City departments. Duties may vary and assignments could require use of skills in one or a variety of trades. Responsibilities may include general maintenance on City property, small engines, or playground equipment maintenance; cement finishing; traffic signal work; construction projects; preparation of surfaces for painting; graffiti removal; operating computers; ordering supplies. Duties include:
* Operating an aerial bucket truck to perform tree maintenance activities.
* Climbing trees and working in precarious positions at considerable heights, generally ranging from 30 to 70 feet.
* Using safety equipment and tools, pruning trees to reduce risks and preserve tree health.
* Conduct visual inspections of trees along the right-of-way, parks, and other public properties to determine corrective action necessary to alleviate problems and concerns.

JOB SUMMARY
Serves as an integral part of a multi-disciplinary response team serving patients with concerns of child abuse, sexual assault, domestic violence, strangulation, physical assault or otherwise impacted by violence. Provides forensic nursing care and referrals. Positions at this level are assigned to perform the more complex and sensitive duties in the healthcare field. Judgment must be exercised in analyzing facts or circumstances surrounding issues. Work often requires development of recommendations and independent actions consistent with policies, general directives, and both local and national forensic nurse guidelines. Discretion is required in the application of procedures and guidelines and in selection of appropriate resources for use in accomplishing assigned work. Reports to the Forensic Nurse Manager.
* Performs medical forensic examinations of minor children and adolescents reporting abuse and neglect.
* Performs medical forensic examinations of adolescents and adults reporting sexual assault, domestic violence, strangulation or other interpersonal violence.
* Assesses the status of the patient and addresses acute medical concerns and stabilization of the patient; completes thorough medical history, assault history and a detailed physical examination, including systems review and developmental status.
* Collects evidence, samples, and labs as needed during the medical forensic exam.
* Manages patient care
* Conducts counseling regarding sexually transmitted infections, pregnancy, injury care, and strangulation dangers, and patient and family safety.
* Administers preventative medications.
* Collaborates with patient, their family and healthcare team.
* Completes medical documentation, including photo-documentation of injuries during the medical forensic exam
* Maintains chain of custody for all evidence.
* Performs post mortem sexual assault exams as requested by the Chief Medical Examiner.
* Performs medical forensic examinations on patients incarcerated at the Pinal County Adult Detention facility
* Performs quality assurance chart reviews for patients incarcerated in the Pinal County Jail and Juvenile Detention Facility.

Ensures all appropriate voucher documentation required from school districts are completed in a timely manner. Follows up with school districts regarding any missing documentation. Escalates any persistent issues as appropriate
Ensures all certified school district employee certificate information is received and data-entered in a timely manner for the release of payroll warrants in accordance with ARS 15-302. Provide guidance regarding improper certified account funding for non-certified employees
Ensures proper release of any school district warrants to pre-authorized couriers or district personnel only
Process fund deposits into the appropriate accounts
Process warrant cancellations, lost warrant affidavits, and voids by working with school districts and the Maricopa County Treasurer
Communicates with school district personnel regarding process issues via phone, email, or in-person meetings
Utilizes the variety of available resources to provide support and guidance to school districts regarding financial processes and procedures set by Arizona Revised Statutes, and any Federal guidelines
Separates and distributes warrants issued for Payroll, Accounts Payable (including payroll deductions), Garnishments, and other manually issued warrants
Process Garnishments
Provides backup to other divisions as needed and performs other duties as assigned

JOB SUMMARY
Assess, prepare, prosecute, negotiate, and litigate civil and criminal cases, represent the Pinal County Attorney's Office (PCAO) in courtrooms, hearings, and negotiations, and learn PCAO guidelines and standards to effectively manage criminal and civil cases and case files under basic supervision.
This position is an exempt position under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not a covered position under the Pinal County Merit System Rules. Incumbents in this position serve at the pleasure of their respective Appointing Authority. THE POSITION AND SALARY WILL BE DETERIMINED BASED ON APPLICANTS QUALIFICATIONS, IF SELECTED
Advancement within the classification series is not guaranteed or automatic and may be delayed. Years of experience referenced in each classification is the minimum requirement, however, placement at job level is also dependent upon quality of work product, caseload complexity, and the ability to work independently. * Represent the PCAO in the prosecution, defense, and resolution of civil and criminal cases brought for and against the County, resolve assigned cases within PCAO policy, learn PCAO guidelines and standards, and perform duties within scope of authority.
* Assist in the prosecution of criminal and civil cases, review legal documents, and compile and analyze case facts.
* Defend most classes of felony cases, all classes of misdemeanor cases, low-level to mid-level felony cases, and complex criminal cases.
* Evaluate criminal cases of newer attorneys, suggest lines of investigation, appropriate trial tactics and legal motions to use, and give advice as to appropriate dispositions.
* Review evidence, interview witnesses, prepare pre-trial legal memoranda, select juries, prepare and present opening and closing statements, examine and cross examine witnesses, make and meet legal objections, and request legal instructions.
* Evaluate criminal charges as filed and instruct investigators as to additional information needed to defend cases, evaluate the information, and determine the appropriate disposition of the case.
* Conduct research and provide consultation involving complex and difficult legal issues.
* Apply legal principles to determinations on individual cases and problems.
* Confer with and offer advice and counsel to County officials and employees and clients, apply legal expertise in a variety of legal fields including administrative, contract, tort, environmental, family, juvenile, immigration, real estate, regulatory, public records, tax issues, child support, and other fields of practice in public sector law.
* Represent the PCAO at arraignments, hearings and trials, identify and subpoena witnesses, records, and other information required to present the case, compile and present evidence, bring cases before the court and argue facts of the case in relation to points of law, case law, and legal precedent, and interview and cross-examine witnesses.
* Manage assigned legal cases, confer with participants, negotiate agreements, and litigate and resolve cases.
* Review and develop recommendations for legal decisions, policies, regulations, resolutions, tax appeals, public disclosure requests, court orders, and other assigned legal matters.
* Evaluate case files and research missing and incomplete information and documents, manage collection and analysis of evidence, research files and computer databases, and update files and records.
