Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections of electrical systems, panels, and equipment Diagnose electrical issues using specialized testing equipment and implement effective repairs Install, maintain and repair lighting fixtures, motors, transformers, and distribution systems Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to complete electrical work Collaborate with facility teams to develop maintenance schedules that minimize disruption to building occupants Respond to emergency electrical situations and implement appropriate solutions Document completed work, parts used, and maintain accurate service records Required: Ability to read electrical schematics and drawings 2+ years of experience working in a commercial and/or industrial environment Must be capable of working in a team environment, working alone or with other trades outside of your own individual trade. Key Responsibilities Install residential wiring and circuitry (new work and retrofit) Interpret prints, plans, and wiring diagrams Diagnose and repair electrical issues using testing equipment Ensure compliance with NEC and local electrical codes Perform “new work” and “old work” applications (remodeling, retrofits) Safely operate lifts, ladders, and other job site equipment Work in attics, crawl spaces, ceilings, walls, etc. Coordinate with homeowners - explain work, answer questions, maintain professionalism Support sales efforts: identify upgrade opportunities, present options to homeowner Required Qualifications & Skills Minimum 5 years of electrical experience Previous sales experience (ability to present and sell solutions to homeowners) Strong working knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) Valid driver's license, reliable transportation Excellent customer communication and interpersonal skills Professional appearance and dependability Ability to work in tight or constrained spaces (attics, crawl spaces) Compensation & Benefits Sign-on bonus: $1,000 for qualified candidates Competitive base pay + weekly bonuses Weekly pay schedule Benefits package including: Health, Dental, Vision Life and Disability Insurance 401(k) with 3% match Paid Time Off & Paid Holidays Fuel card Company truck (that can be taken home) Paid training Company-supplied uniforms Opportunities for growth and advancement Regular social events and bonus opportunities Work Environment & Culture Growth-oriented, family business Emphasis on training, safety, respect, and teamwork Platform for long‐term career, not just a job Legal & Equal Opportunity Statement Walsh Brothers Electric LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
