The Role
As Market Director, you'll be responsible for providing a best-in-class experience to our eaters and our chefs.
Your time will be spent running the daily operations of the entire NYC market, as well as driving improvement measures, and operational strategy.
You will help to elevate the standard, streamline processes, and provide efficient guidelines to the Kitchen, Warehouse, Food Safety, Fulfillment and Logistics departments, ensuring they are all set for success. All this with a long-term mindset nurturing positive daily habits with special care on scalability and cost-efficiency.
Success for this role will be measured by customer satisfaction and profitability of operations, constantly identifying key opportunities and spearheading projects focused on effectively scaling our business for growth.
Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Associates, Supervisors, and Managers with a hands-on approach Create an inspiring and empowered work environment for team members to thrive by defining clear career paths and providing growth opportunities Oversee the full cycle of food production, fulfillment, storage, packaging, and on-time delivery to ensure quality standards (Food Safety, cleanliness, and sanitation) are being met at all times, in compliance with city, county, and state requirements Continuously measure and evaluate all work processes and take proactive steps to ensure best practices are implemented and shared across the market Review and manage P&L regularly to ensure that key financial targets (food cost, labor, profit, etc.) are being met Increase profitability through implementing procedures to reduce costs and increase productivity Work cross-functionally with Operations and other corporate departments to implement strategic projects that contribute to meeting or exceeding company KPI targets
