General Summary:
The Associate, Capital Markets is a seasoned associate that takes a leading role in executing and reporting on structured finance transactions. In addition, this position is a database-querying expert responsible for developing and automating analytics necessary to maintain best-in-class secured capital markets platforms. Duties and Responsibilities:
Take a lead analyst role in all aspects of deal execution for structured finance transactions (securitizations).
Prepare servicer reports, support code change implementation, enhance reporting validation, conduct asset transfers, compile data, complete SEC data filings. Develop and automate analytics for the various platforms.
Act as a project SME for audit engagements and covenant compliance. Participate in external stakeholder relationship management.
Support all Treasury related special projects and all other duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Skills:
Knowledge of securitization and banking markets is required.
Excellent Microsoft Office Suite user. Database management and querying knowledge required. Excel proficiency and pivot tables required; VBA, SQL, and SAS strongly preferred.
Ability to work in a highly time-sensitive, dynamic and growing environment with superb time management and multi-tasking skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills are necessary.

Qualifications

What You’ll Do

What We Look For

- Moderate investment banking business development and engagement process execution experience
- Ability to interact with clients, lenders, and other investors
- Strong analytical, presentation, and marketing skills; deep knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Excel and PowerPoint, ability to use CapIQ and other research sites, navigate and update G2’s CRM
