Description:

The Floral & Candy Associate is responsible for providing exceptional Customer Service. They will make sure the Floral & Candy Department is will stocked for our Customers. They will assist in receiving, store and stocking of merchandise while ensuring proper rotation and quality. They will build displays, process damaged product and maintain a proper fronting of the Floral & Candy Department.

General Summary:
The Associate, Capital Markets is a seasoned associate that takes a leading role in executing and reporting on structured finance transactions. In addition, this position is a database-querying expert responsible for developing and automating analytics necessary to maintain best-in-class secured capital markets platforms. This associate acts as a project SME for audit engagements and compliance, participates in external stakeholder relationship management, performs ad-hoc data analysis, and supports Treasury related special projects as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Take a lead analyst role in all aspects of deal execution for structured finance transactions (securitizations).
Prepare servicer reports, support code change implementation, enhance reporting validation, conduct asset transfers, compile data, complete SEC data filings. Develop and automate analytics for the various platforms.
Act as a project SME for audit engagements and covenant compliance. Participate in external stakeholder relationship management.
Support all Treasury related special projects and all other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Skills:

Knowledge of securitization and banking markets is required.
Excellent Microsoft Office Suite user. Database management and querying knowledge required. Excel proficiency and pivot tables required; VBA, SQL, and SAS strongly preferred.
Ability to work in a highly time-sensitive, dynamic and growing environment with superb time management and multi-tasking skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills are necessary.
Solid work ethic, team spirit and dedication to excellence are essential.

Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience required.
Minimum of 2 years of recent Capital Markets/Treasury experience required.
Auto finance or banking industry experience is strongly preferred but not necessary.
Bachelor's degree required. Major in business, accounting, finance, or economics preferred.

What You’ll Do

• Assist the Capital Markets team in the origination, structuring, and marketing processes for debt and equity transactions for public and private middle market companies across a spectrum of industries
• Prepare three-statement financial models including a variety of analyses such as multiple capital structure scenarios, debt capacity analysis, covenant sensitivities, IRR calculations for existing stakeholders and investors
• Perform valuation analysis using comparable transactions, public company comparison, DCF and LBO analyses,
• Review company information and perform credit analysis, and market research as needed throughout engagements
• Assists with drafting offering memoranda for distribution to investors as well as other financial presentations detailing client and transaction-related fundamental information
• Research and compile a market map of potential investors targeted for potential transactions
• Prepare pitches, capital market updates, and marketing materials for investors
• Support senior executives in business development efforts and assist in reviewing new lead opportunities
  
  

What We Look For

• 3+ years of experience in credit, leveraged finance, direct lending, capital markets or syndication experience
• Proficient underwriting experience and proven ability to support the day-to-day execution of all aspects of capital raises across multiple transaction types (LBOs, recapitalizations, refinancing, add-on acquisitions and special situations)
• Moderate investment banking business development and engagement process execution experience
• Ability to interact with clients, lenders, and other investors
• Strong analytical, presentation, and marketing skills; deep knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Excel and PowerPoint, ability to use CapIQ and other research sites, navigate and update G2’s CRM
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment with proven organizational and time management skills; ability to manage multiple work streams and manage up accordingly
• Strict attention to detail and excellent work ethic required with an enthusiastic, proactive, and positive attitude
• Exceptional business acumen including listening, written and oral communication skills
• An undergraduate degree with a strong academic record
• Series 79 registration or ability to obtain registration with [45] days of hire
