Position Purpose: Join our Corporate Marketing organization and help create a world-class, digital-first marketing team. Centene is looking for data-driven, forward-looking, and influential marketing individuals. Manage research projects for company across all lines of business and state health plans. Work collaboratively to assist with research and analysis projects that help to uncover key market and consumer insights, communicate insights, and provide context and actionable strategies. Use statistical, analytical and market research techniques and tools to execute research individually as well as with agencies.

Plan, conduct, and analyze surveys of consumers to gather information about their needs and preferences. Analyze past research projects to identify areas for improvement in future research efforts

Lead a team responsible for collecting data for research projects, evaluating the quality of research by ensuring that the study design is appropriate for the objectives of the research project

Lead the creation of focus groups or interviews with customers or other stakeholders to gather feedback about products or services

Education/Experience:

Experience using marketing workflow and project management tools such as Workfront. Demonstrated ability to learn and or prior use of statistical tools (such as SPSS, R, Python) and statistical methods such as correlation. Experience with online data collection tools such as Qualtrics.

What success looks like in this role:

The Customer Insights and Market Research role will be responsible for developing and managing/executing primary research into market potential, customer priorities, drivers of customer decisions, and pricing/value perception. Key Responsibilities:
Structure and conduct primary qualitative and quantitative research campaigns with third-party team(s). Act as the voice in the setting of audience specifications on studies that go to field, provide oversight with the contracted vendors on study logistics such as questionnaire design and development.Analyze and contextualize incoming research results to drive quantitative and qualitative insights, cause-effect relationships, and forced ranking of alternatives.Understand customer decision-making process including participant role/perspective and role-related selection criteria priorities. Design research to help clients and prospects to articulate benefits, issues, and concerns related to the market and their businesses.Create and build out client bits and bites listening and documentation process and content repository to house client feedback and facts which are not yet ready for full “case study” production, but which still represent key client feedback.Work closely with the Unisys Sales Win/Loss Analytics team to pull sales generated market insights into the Unisys Marketing content machine, and with the Unisys Solution Marketing teams and Business Units to create/commission primary signature market research relating to Unisys buyers and prospective buyers.

You will be successful in this role if you have:
5+ years of working experience in customer research/analytical marketing in a complex product environment, preferably information technology-focused Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Market Research, Statistics, Business Administration or closely related field preferred. or equivalent work experience required.Passion for understanding customer needs and using customer insights to drive effective and engaging marketing messaging and content.Experience producing qualitative and quantitative research plans, designing research questionnaires and moderator guides.Experience in the interpretation & analysis of quantitative and qualitative research projects and their respective applications.Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
