Summary/Objective CACTI Park of the Palm Beaches is the Spring Training home to the Houston Astros and Washington Nationals. This two-team location is a state-of-the-art facility designed for year-round use through Spring Training games, amateur baseball, non-baseball sporting events, community events along with banquets, corporate events, weddings and more. In this role, you will be an essential part of the game experience and help build memories that last a lifetime. This position requires a friendly, outgoing personality to sell retail merchandise to guests in accordance with Company's customer service standards and applicable operational standards.

Assist with the execution of all requests from the home team, visiting team and referees, collaborating with the venue and other departments to fill needs.
Act as a liaison between teams/referees and operations to properly keep operations running smoothly and efficiently.
Execute all venue, field, and locker room operations as needed.
Learn how to quickly problem solve in a high-pressure environment/adapt to match day as circumstances change.
Create/Provide a positive/open minded work environment.

Consistently demonstrates complete competence in performing and completing Cardiac Ultrasound scans as ordered and per department protocol. Starting IV's, and injecting contrast, when applicable. Processing cardiac ultrasound images including appropriate measurements and transmitting to Pacs system for interpretation. Providing on call services Support and be active in the department's PI projects in the department. To ensure compliance with prevailing requirements or practices, as well as with changes in JCAHO Standards, OSHA regulations, and/or various state or federal statutes.
Coordinate scheduling and patient flow with Chief Tech for interdepartmental procedures.
Independently performs per protocol all Cardiac Ultrasounds complete with contrast, agitated saline, including Stress echoes, Metabolic Stress echoes.
Assist with the education and training of new Cardiac Ultrasound techs, fellows, physicians.
Participate in research initiatives and imaging per research protocols.
Monitor charging of Cardiac Ultrasound procedures and supplies daily to ensure correctness.

SUMMARY
This position requires a professional transport (truck) driver to drive an IMSA transporter (with trailer) to and from events and/or fly to and from events. In addition to professional truck driving duties, this position is also responsible for set-up and teardown of equipment utilized throughout the event week/weekend as well as maintaining all equipment in a functional and professional appearing manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Drive transporter, often on an interstate basis, for all required events. Must be able to drive to events as prescribed while maintaining all Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements necessary to operate a transporter (i.e., Commercial Driver's License, testing, drive time regulations, etc.).
Truck and trailer loading and unloading; setting up and breaking down of awnings, tech equipment and any equipment as needed.
Truck and trailer scheduling and minor maintenance.
Work to support all weekend officials by maintaining equipment and supplies; staff any IMSA trailers as needed.
Responsible for equipment maintenance and care including cleaning, restocking and upkeep.
Prepare truck logs, complete timecards, and fuel reports after all trips.
After performing set-up duties at the race event, will also be asked to perform other tasks to help augment other staffing needs around other departments.
Required to operate forklifts and supporting equipment.
Periodically work at the IMSA transportation hub on off-event days.
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
Approximate travel required: 80% including weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS

THE ROLE
The Banquet Server is responsible for providing exceptional food and beverage service during banquet events and functions. This role focuses on ensuring a positive guest experience through attentive service, professionalism, and attention to detail. Banquet Servers work closely with the Banquet Captain, Banquet Manager, and other event staff to ensure smooth setup, service, and breakdown of events.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist with collecting all banquet equipment to include flatware, China, glassware, and serving pieces needed for each event.
Prepares garnishes, beverages, condiments, and breads.
Clean and fill salt and pepper containers, sugar dishes, creamers, etc.
Assist with preparation and set-up of event room when necessary.
Prepare tables with place settings as instructed.
Establish and maintain positive client relationships.
Breakdown tables and banquet equipment after each event.
Clean and return serving pieces to proper storage area.

THE ROLE
The Facility Technician is a part-time, event-based position responsible for facility maintenance, general cleaning, and the setup and breakdown of event spaces at the Charles F. Dodge City Center.
ESSENTIAL DUTES AND RESPONSIBILITIES QUALIFICATIONS
Perform routine and emergency maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, structural, and general equipment systems.
Install, repair, and replace facility systems and components as needed.
Monitor and operate building systems, including the energy management system.
Conduct general maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry, plastering, landscaping, pavement repair, and cleaning.
Maintain maintenance logs and inventory; requisition supplies as needed.
Monitor building conditions and promptly report issues.
Assist vendors and contractors in service delivery and ensure compliance with building protocols.
Oversee event subcontractors to ensure safe interaction with facility systems.
Provide technical support for event planning and implementation, including event setup and breakdown.
Operate equipment such as forklifts, lifts, and hand/power tools as needed.
Assist other departments to support efficient facility operations.
Follow all established safety protocols and codes of conduct.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of three (3) years in the maintenance or construction of a commercial facility.
Experience in convention centers, hotels, or similar settings is a plus.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Working knowledge of maintenance or construction trades and practices.
Strong working knowledge of maintenance and construction practices.
Proficient in the use of facility tools, equipment, and machinery (e.g., forklift, lifts, scrubber, drills, saws).
Able to work independently with minimal supervision and exercise sound judgment.
Effective communicator; able to follow written and verbal instructions.
Organized, detail-oriented, and dependable.
Familiarity with cleaning compounds and facility safety practices.
Adaptable to changing situations; able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Professional and calm when handling issues or complaints.
Must be able to speak English and communicate clearly with staff and clients.
Friendly, self-motivated, and committed to high-quality service delivery.

Must be mobile and able to navigate between different areas of the venue quickly.
Exposure to moderate to high noise levels during events.
Must be physically able to perform tasks such as moving furniture, operating tools, and working on ladders or lifts.
Must have sufficient hearing to respond to alarms, bells, and voices in noisy environments.

POSITION SUMMARY

Tuition Benefit
After 1 year of continuous fulltime service, employees are eligible to enroll in STU's bachelor and master courses, tuitionfree. The program will cover a maximum timeframe of 125% of credit hours attempted toward the degree program. Employees may enroll in STU's doctoral program, with a 40% tuition discount, under the same conditions.
