A bit about this role…

Our Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator/Developer will be our point person & responsible for day-to-day administration of our B2C Salesforce Marketing Cloud org (formerly ExactTarget), ensuring the platform is healthy, performant, and compliant. In this role, you will work closely with our Marketing and Product & Technology teams, acting as a trusted resource who understands Marketing Cloud best practices, capabilities, data architecture, and licensing. A working knowledge of HubSpot is a plus for collaborating with our B2B Sales & Marketing teams on integrations & technical challenges.

The meaningful work you will tackle:

* Designing and implementing automated email/mobile journeys using Email Studio, Mobile Studio, Automation Studio and Journey Builder
* Reporting and analyzing email activity using Email Studio reports and Journey Builder; proficiency with Data Views and Discover Reports within Analytics Builder, A/B tests
* Designing and/or building integrations between Marketing Cloud and 3rd party applications or data sources
* Designing and building Data Extensions, Lists and other contact/data related activities
* Designing roles and granting access using the principle of least privilege
* Working closely with Salesforce Administrators and Developers to understand integration between the platforms and the flow of data between them
* Working closely with Product and Engineering teams to expand the use of SFMC beyond Marketing email campaigns
* General troubleshooting of all aspects of the platform, create cases with Salesforce Premier Support when needed, work with our Salesforce Account Team for escalation and feature activation/licensing
* Promote best practices and scale for growth

What we're looking for in your background & what makes you a success:

* 2+ years of experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, ideally involving integrations with Salesforce Service Cloud and other platforms
* Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Administrator, Marketing Cloud Developer, and/or Email Specialist certifications preferred
* Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases
* AMPscript and CloudPages experience is a plus
* BS degree preferred in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Administration
* Ability to work as part of a team, build strong relationships, solve problems, improve processes, analyze trends, identify efficiencies, and champion change

The Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator is responsible for the overall performance management of the Salesforce MC Platform. The administrator will work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager, the Affiliate Offices, and other subject matter experts to identify, develop and deploy new business processes.

This role is part administrator, part technical project manager, and part Salesforce analyst. This role will focus primarily on the Marketing Cloud implementations and configurations of the platform according to business specifications, ensuring ease of use for the users of any technical level. In addition, the administrator will stay up-to-date on the platform's new tools, capabilities, and updates and devise plans for how they can be levered within NCF.

Essential Functions
* Works in coordination with business units to understand platform requirements and advise on how requirements can best be accomplished.
* Solicits, evaluates and configures complex journey builds, creates trigger/automation processes, and working parameters for Marketing Cloud compatibility to create seamless customer experiences across every touchpoint.
* Monitors performance and maintains the Marketing Cloud system according to business requirements.
* Execute all basic administrative functions including user count maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows and other routine tasks.
* Liaison with Salesforce Account Executive and team.
* Create and maintain API and data integration processes between Salesforce and other services.
* Perform root cause analysis and resolution for all Salesforce Marketing issues.
* Create and maintain Data Extensions and segmentation groups and track emails and develop relevant reports and dashboards.
* Create journeys using Journey Builder.
* Build internal technical and architectural documentation, manuals, and policies.
* Upgrade Marketing Cloud system with new releases and modules.
* Troubleshoots issues and outages with Marketing Cloud or systems that connect to Marketing Cloud.

Experience, Education
* 5+ years' Marketing Cloud experience.
* BA/BS degree in computer science or related field preferred.
* Salesforce Admin and Marketing Cloud Certified.
* Experience integration Salesforce into 3rd party tools; leveraging existing API's or developing new API's.
* Experience working on Salesforce instances and managing upgrades.
* Demonstrated knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) aka Exact Target.
* Experience working with all Marketing Cloud Builders and Studios, including Mobile Connect, Personalization Builder, Social Studio, Interaction Studio, Journey Builder, and Advertising Studio.
* Experience implementing automated solutions utilizing Marketing Cloud Server-Side JavaScript (SSJS).
* Experience using Journey Builder with thorough understanding of Audience Builder configuration.
* Working knowledge of AMPscript and Guide Template Language.
* Working knowledge of Front-end development building CloudPages using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AMPscript.

* Fundamental understanding of database technologies (RDBMS, NoSQL).

The Marketing Administrator provides valuable support to multiple team members in support of Fellowes Mobile. + Work with cross-functional team to acquire approvals of packaging prior to approving for production.

+ Assist with item set up process and reserving part numbers, keeping very strong detail-orientation when doing so.

+ Maintain a consistent review of product online listings, including item detail accuracy and image assessment.

+ Manage internal graphic design project list and lead weekly review with marketing team during our team meetings.

+ Manage internal customer service team inquiries and inform customer service team of new products.

+ Assist the team's financial analyst with tracking and reconciling the marketing budget.

+ At times, lead or conduct meetings with marketing team or cross-functional team members.

+ Support special ad-hoc Marketing Projects e.g. video shoots, sell sheets, customer specific materials, etc.

+ Assist with competitive research if/when needed.

+ Assist in organizing the process for post-line review meeting packaging mock ups - an important milestone in our new product commercialization journey.
