We are currently looking for a dynamic individual as a Marketing Intelligence Analyst for our Polyurethanes organization at our corporate headquarters located in The Woodlands, Texas.

The Marketing Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for the creation and management of ongoing analysis and reporting in support of the Polyurethanes business. As a key member of the Strategic Marketing team, the Marketing Analyst will collaborate with the Strategic Marketing Manager to define analysis output, to mine data, and to analyze and interpret information about the Huntsman position in the Americas Polyurethanes market. These analyses will be used for operational planning and in assessments of SMU business models required to maximize profitable growth.

The successful candidate will be able to analyze independently both qualitative and quantitative data, trends, and strategies related to Huntsman competitiveness in the Polyurethanes industry. Through methodical market research, the Market Analyst will be able to quantify the current market position of Huntsman in all major Polyurethane segments and assess new market spaces as required by the business strategy. Insights regarding customers, markets, channels, and competitors will be utilized to help Huntsman make informed decisions about the Polyurethanes business direction.
What will be expected from you?
Industry Demand Database - Track market sizes for select SMUs using extensive market research. Collaborate in an on-going manner with the sales and marketing teams and other relevant stakeholders across the company and serve as the subject-matter expert for the views on forecasted demand in the Americas region. Comprehend the statistical correlations between industry drivers and polyurethane demand for each major polyurethane application. Use appropriate data sources including management input, industry reports, marketing reports, and/or primary analysis to build and continually manage the industry demand database. Create high quality quantitative market reports analyzing the status and outlook for Huntsman in the polyurethanes industry.Production Analysis - Analyze trends related to production of key polyurethane raw materials. Work with a global analyst team to coordinate viewpoints and align data and forecasts. Issue a quarterly analysis and report for the Americas.Market Assessments - Conduct assessments of new market areas as directed by Strategic Marketing manager to identify profitable growth opportunities. Collect data on consumers, competitors and select markets and consolidate information into actionable items, reports and/or presentations.Innovation Portfolio Management - Work with the Strategic Marketing Team and the Innovation and Technology Team to identify the strategic growth areas and track the implementation of projects in line with the division strategy.Digitalization of Key Market Leading Indicators - Lead the digitalization of key market indicators for the automotive and construction market segments. Responsibilities & Qualifications

DUTIES:
Helps facilitate the review of advertising and training materials, and various marketing requests, to ensure compliance with applicable federal and state regulations, including rules promulgated under FINRA, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), and more.

In support of the group's enforcement of policies related to agent solicitation and recruitment efforts, the Analyst will interface with members of Primerica's sales force to help perform the principal licensed review of advertising requests, respond to questions, perform the principal review of flagged emails to determine whether policy guidelines have been met, provide support for the review and tracking of seminar and job fair requests, including those that include cash/non-cash compensation, log and track matters for follow-up, and more.

The Analyst should possess a “can do” attitude, as well as a willingness to work collaboratively with team members and various business counterparts to identify thoughtful and creative solutions to issues that arise.
As needed, the analyst will assist department attorneys and staff with other projects.

Note: recent law school graduates will be considered for the Analyst role. Candidates that have a J.D. could assume additional responsibilities beyond those currently associated with the position.
