Job Summary
This position is responsible for creating and overseeing the implementation of promotional plans and pre and post-sales literature and other materials for Marketing and Sales; managing high level departmental or division projects and representing the manager and/or the department on committees and special task forces; overseeing work of other department writers on projects and managing vendor relationships; developing, monitoring, and evaluating budget for literature under his/her purview; and working with other staff on budget projections.

This position is recognized division-wide as a resourceful and reliable marketing communication resource who acts as the main communication coordinator between all affected groups. Develops strategic marketing communication plans, provides counsel to internal groups and directs work of outside suppliers and vendors to support the marketing strategy.
**Project Development:** Designs, develops, and produces electronic media and resource enhancements, tools and marketing communications programs or recommends changes to current ones. This position is responsible for all phases of assigned programs, including budget and usage forecasts.
