Marketing & Event Planning Internship Summary:


The Marketing & Event Planning Intern will support the day-to-day operations of our Metals Sales team.

Plans swag for Q3, Q4, Q1NY, Q2NY. Works with our supplier to determine pricing, make sample orders & preload our online store. Creates an internal catalog for digital distribution, including instructions for how to use personal and corporate estore. Assists in planning and managing summer golf outings Coordinates fall Sales outing Assists Sales Managers with other tasks and projects as needed Actively participates in Internship Program and associated events


Marketing & Event Planning Internship Qualifications:


Pursuing a bachelor's degree in marketing, sales, business or entrepreneurship Strong self-motivation Must have a valid drivers license Active listening skills Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook) Ability to provide ideas on service solutions for customers Demonstrated excellent professional verbal and written communication skills Attention to detail Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Support Marketing Events staff in activities such as projects, administrative support, and preparing marketing and communications materials, reports, presentations, and spreadsheets.2. Required Qualifications
Current student studying marketing or related field at an accredited institution Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to maintain confidentiality Strong computer, proofreading, organization, and filing skills Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment Background check results satisfactory to SELNegative drug test result(s)

Preferred Qualifications
Direct customer service and sales experience Hospitality experience in Event planning Physical Requirements
