A Day in the Life of our Marketing Assistant:

As a Marketing Assistant, you are the liaison between our clients and their customers. How you’ll LEAD:

The Marketing Assitant will sit with the Marketing Strategy team, part of the Gold’s Gym SoCal Marketing Team. This role is an integral part of the team, supporting priority initiatives and special projects run through the Marketing Team group in collaboration with other cross-functional teams. The Marketing Coordinator will have the opportunity to make an impact across many departments, agency partners, and project management boards and will be the glue that holds these projects together. The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver, detail-oriented, and ready to take initiative.


How you’ll CREATE:
Support Marketing Director, Marketing Operations Director, and Marketing Managers across priority projects, process improvement, and operational support Communicate and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including Audience Development, Insights, Media Strategy, Digital Innovation, Campaigns, and graphic design. Support team with digital asset management, project organization, and project trafficking Support in building out campaign pitch decks and recaps for priority projects Support marketing VPs/Directors by documenting and following up on team + individual action items, with an eye towards keeping projects moving Update project management documents including timelines, workbooks, and collaborative documents Manage invoicing process and track against a team budget Contribute creative ideas and participate in brainstorms throughout campaign planning Keep abreast of existing and emerging media and marketing trends, delivering consistent reports to the marketing strategy team Attend relevant marketing meetings, record and distribute notes and manage follow-ups to ensure step-by-step completion
